Will you be able to catch an antelope Addax and tame it (ride it) ... or will you escape the stinger of a scorpion or the bite of a desert snake?

WARNING : This mod is a big update of my mod Bactrian camel and Dromedary Mounts SE. In the 2 camps (Bactrian Camels and Dromedaries) you have now some portals (represented by shields) to easily reach the Alik’r Desert

This mod required as MASTER The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal SE (I also advise Gray Cowl of Nocturnal Alikr Flora Overhaul SE )

In my configuration I have to place "Gray Cowl of Nocturnal Alikr Flora Overhaul" UNDER "Camel" to have a correct remote display



Adds 2 camps with animals (Bactrian Camels, Dromedaries, Young Camel) and 2 Redguards (in Skyrim not in the Alik’r desert).

With this mod there are no more borders, the redguards can enter and leave freely ... the closed doors open finally !

STANDALONE VERSION 11.7 SE

Only if you have completed « The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal » and deleted it, or if you ONLY want to go to the Alikr Desert.

No Scripts, No Quests, No .ini (with the entry "bBorderRegionsEnabled = 0": now the borders are restored !).

If you have my « Camels and new animals in Alik'r Desert » mod (version 8.2), you also need to delete it.

Entry is now into Whiterun where you will find a portal that will teleport you into Ben Erai (At the Right when entering Whiterun. just follow the ramparts)

Bugs or Problems

Conflicts (i think, but not tested) with mods who make use of the border regions or gates (Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, Beyond Reach, Rigmor of Bruma, Rigmor of Cyrodill, Unique Border Gate ...)

Semi compatibilty (mod tested) with The Frontier to Cyrodiil (Fight against the Thalmor II) SSE : conflict with the camp of dromedaries because some buildings there (but no CTD: the dromedaries flee, and the redguard fights the thalmors)

Small problem with my mod Redguard Traders with Mounts and Followers SE : the patrol with the dromedary now passes through the Alik'r desert ...

The camels cannot walk normally, they can only run (The deer skeleton have movement directly on the skeleton, differently from all the other vanilla skeletons.
If you walking, you reduce his speed and are start to slide !!!)

The Young Camel have sometimes some neighs like a horse. There is also -rarely- a blink bug (The eyelashes act strange when it blinks)

When the camels of the patrol begin to turn, the movements are usually extremely slow.

Possible bug with the patrols (only): the mount start to move forward very quickly, but everything ends up calming down; otherwise let 1 hour pass, or make a fast travel; the other solution is to catch up her - it is sometimes very difficult! - to get its rider down and then talk to him, before letting him go again

If the elephant ends up in Ben Erai, it will not be able to come out (stuck in the door) ... let pass 1 hour !



For the Outfits:

The "Hammerfell Merchant Clothes" female (only) is too bright ...

The "Shawls" are only for the females

The "Alik'r Hood Ethic Leatherstrips" is not perfect in this SSE version ...



You can only have one Follower at a time: if you want a different one (in my other mods), you need to dismiss the first one before you recruit them.

If telling the follower to return at home (With message: “Your companion heads home”) doesn't dismiss him, or if you have lost the active Follower, you can try this:

Type “²” or "`" or "~" key to get into console, and type:

set playeranimalcount to 0

With Amazing Follower Tweaks , or other mod with followers, if problem to dismiss the followers, you can uncheck this mod (AFT or other) in the Data Files when you launch the game

If problem with the Dialog Box of the followers/ companions (Wait - Follow - Trade - Favor - Dismiss) you can also enter / exit a house or make a fast travel
