This is exactly what I wanted. It's such a perfect low impact FPS ENB, I'm so happy that I found it. With this activated I barely have any FPS drops.

I was at first liking this preset very much, thinking, this is the best version of an enhanced vanilla weathers enb, until I noticed that it's for cathedral.. I thought, oh... that's why it's so good! U manage to keep the vanilla feel to it while using one of the best weather mods out there. I'm impressed, I might actually use this on my vanilla style playthrough.

Aww, got excited for "Vanilla Extended", but it's actually a Cathedral Weathers preset. :(

I explained why its still called "Vanilla" in the description but yes its confusing.
      Sorry for that one

I am in the same situation too Sable17...I am trying to look for something lightweight and to enhance vanilla lighting...I find most exterior lighting mods mess with all my 3D terrain stuff :(

Try this re-shade? or this and then add this ENB. Don't go by the name of the ENB, it is not weather specific. It just adds AO and subtle lighting fixes. Very subtle FPS hit maybe 4-8 FPS with both ENB + Reshade combo. I was using this when I had my good old gtx 1050 Ti and it gave excellent results with minimal FPS impact. With right textures, I found this combination to have the best balance between performance and quality, especially if you are on low end system looking for extra fps or even if you are on a high end machine looking for solid 60 FPS .

You could actually use this preset and delete its weather files. That would make it compatible with vanilla weathers and all other weather mods.
Also you could try to run this fully with vanilla weathers. The Weather Files arent that complex and should look fine on vanilla.
+ They mostly eddit vanilla weather ids.
Thats why I said it doesnt overwrite weather mods AND vanillas colors with effects.

Is there a way to have DoF? I tried to install from another ENB but nothing happens.

Depends on from which ENB you took the DOF. Some require core files of the original ENB.

Do you have any information how I could enable DoF with this ENB? I can't find a working one for this for some reason. Tried from multiple ENBs and even used Marty McFly's DoF file from Nexus. I have the effect enabled and even have settings in the GUI window but they don't seem to apply in the game. Never had this with other ENBs. Your ENB is the best for me but can't get the DoF to work :I

This is exactly what I was looking for in my next playthrough, and you seem to have released it exactly when I needed it! I was half expecting to need to build one myself, but this saves me a lot of work, and it won't be too difficult to adjust settings in the future either.

I do have a question though.. Your description mentions some features that just aren't worth the fps, but I'm personally playing without DSR on 1080p with a GTX 2070, and I have a lot of fps to waste. Are there any other settings you might recommend turning on in such a case? Even with really aggressive ENB settings, I never see my fps below 60.

Also, a suggestion.. The author of ENB Light built his meshes using particle lights instead, and recommends turning Complex Fire off specifically. This is probably obvious to you and most others, but perhaps including a footnote somewhere for the average user in your description could save some effort later on? Probably not. Those people never read descriptions.

Edit: Apparently, I forgot to say thanks. Really appreciate the preset!

First of all thanks for such a nice and detailed comment. Appreciated.
I actually didnt even know that ENB Light recommends turning this feature off.
But as I looked at everything I didnt noticed anything bad looking.
Well still as you say its worth to look at and maybe im going to turn it off to get it to look correctly.

As you have plenty of FPS left you could change a lot and even improve something really drasticly but fast in time since it doesnt needs that much adjustment over scenarios. (mostly) Since many features are left as off by default, they are not tweaked and adjusted to this preset. But if you know what youre doing it will go well.
You could add and tweak SkyLighting (FPS Heavy and too dark if not adjusted but good looking if), Normal Mapping Shadows, and go briefly over the most effects to set the quality to the stage you want it to be. I set them to low quality for performance reasons, they dont look that bad either on low. But setting it higher looks obviously better.
You could also activate directional skylighting (for skylighting) and SkinSpecular if it works out for you. (Some effects like these require saving the preset and restarting the game to show up.)

This ENB doesnt uses any PostPass, PrePass and ENBEffect.fx shader codes for performance reasons aswell for the style.
Using these will overwrite the weather mods colorcorrection (sadly) and trying to tweak it back is really hard or even impossible. (I tryed it) (Thats why I use Reshade as the PostPass since it doesnt overwrites stuff)
So if you want to keep this ENBs style its not recommended. If you still want to try it, then reply and I will explain how to do it.
This Con Feature is the reason of the ENBEffect.fx, which is sadly also the core for the features: PostPass.fx, Prepass.fx, Adaptation, Bloom.

Actually you could find some nice effects in Reshade and adjust it to your liking.

If you have some questions just ask ;)

Good luck and have fun :)

Like most of the other ENBs do aswell.
If you want to edit sky settings then this will happen.

You say its 0 to 5 fps loss because you are lock at 60 fps and cant actually see the dip in performance?

Well its nearly 60 fps. Its actually locked at 60 but when I tweaked the most FPS demanding effects like ambient occlusion
it dropped to 58.7. Thats just for example. In some Scenarios I still get 60 (59.9 because the cap mostly works like this)

Sorry for the dumb question, but for some reason shift+enter isn't bringing up the enb menu like it has for the other enb presets I have used. Am I doing something wrong?

Never mind: it uses "End" key :)
