I use hype doors and gamwich windows, enead banners i don't see any point doing them already fantastic stuff by great modders out there, i did the castle carpet and stormcloak banner but i'll probably overwrite with enead banners anyway, high poly smim throne by lucid AP in pictures i think...sdlutz tables and lights top stuff...any comments, suggestions feel free...not about being too clean looking please...i know that.
UPDATE... Version 1.5 is up, all normals reduced to 2K, most diffuse have also been reduced to 2K with main stone and textures remaining 4K, the meshes included have subtle fixes, 2 have the ivy on the temple of talos set to hidden. You will need the ceiling fix after installing to correct the palace throne room interior. I've uploaded the original temple meshes for those who want the ivy, just overwrite. Or if you know what you are doing delete whtempletalos,nif and windhelmtempletalos2,nif from meshes/architecture/windhelm folder.
I can't make this work with footprints mod, having tried in xedit and reading through footprints description, if anyone knows how to disable footprints in windhelm i would like to do it, if at all possible.
Damn, i forgot i was gonna upload a 2K version, I'm gonna run it through Cathedral Optimizer myself, never had any problems with it. Go ahead and do it yourself if you want, i'll be uploading later on today now anyway
Hello guys. I just downloaded this mod after seeing it in one of Syn's Youtube videos. I would like to apologize in advance for asking this question, is this compatible with JK's skyrim? I'm not very good with modding. Please do forgive me.
Should be, JK's mods places objects all over the place and will use whatever textures you personally have, wouldn't have thought there would be a problem but i don't have Jk's Skyrim so can't be 100 per cent sure.
This is my favorite Windhelm texture mod, and Windhelm is probably my favorite city so thank you for making it look better!
I always had one issue with Windhelm though, and it's that the braziers are tinted green. You can see this especially near Ulfric's throne. Your flatiron texture seems to make the tinting less stark, although with ENB and lighting mods it remains. For the life of me, I haven't a clue how to change it. I'm not even requesting you try and change it, just asking an obviously smart and talented modder to help me figure out how to get rid of the green LOL
Maybe a cubemap, or the the mesh you are using...not sure it's probably none of those things, if you are using vanilla mesh there is no cubemap on these if i remember anyway...i can take a look though...
Would be something with the setup you have i would imagine, i have some different meshes for the braziers i downloaded from loverslab if you want to try them, the metal brazier has it's own texture instead of the flatiron with adjusted UV so i could apply some highlights plus i added an environment map...just message me and i'll give you a link if your'e bothered, may not make any difference but never know
I did that but i've updated a lot of the textures, and i want to do the stone wall again now i have better stuff to use, at some point i will update my 4K whiterun, same with the roof textures, gotta do them then run dyndolod see what's goin on first, stone floor gotta do aswell make it blend nice with the grass properly, new grass maybe too would imagine
I can't find anything in CK or Nifskope which makes use of them, i went through the unused arena meshes aswell, delete them if you want i'm gonna do, see if i notice anything later
OK, I will do that with all the textures that I can't find. :) ie : lgn_color, tgn_color, whblocksingles, whblocksingles2 & whstoneplain. I would save some space on my ssd ;)
Very nice mod... looks very nice... and goes well with my modlist (currently 236 ESP+ESM, 216 ESL, with about 165 merged)... had minimal impact on FPS. Nicely done, Endorsed..
I could upload a complete 2K version now i suppose, there are still quite a lot of 4K diffuse maps, but i can scale them down. Would only take about 3 hours uploading it instead of 7 ( gasp and shake of the head, talk talk fast broadband, it provides ulpoad speed of 0.8mbs which makes me lose the will to live...lol ).
lol take your time man im just saying my game is loaded with 600 mods rn plus enb so i gotta watch out for my fps i always go for 1k/2k textures if I can and your textures look awesome btw so imma endorse
Whats your specs? I am running a modded version of Lexy's LoTD, well over 1k total mods (many merged, many converted to ESL).. I run extremely high FPS (i9-10900k processor, 128gb ram, 2080 RTX SUPER, 3 2gb SSD (very fast)... Will be installing this mod, and check it out..
i've got a gtx 1070 asus x570 ryzen 5, there are moments when my game pauses for a second sometimes longer, and sometimes the sound is delayed in inventory don't know what the hell it is, when a dragon comes into view or lands is usually a problem
I was just going off high poly project, that has 2 windhelmthrone meshes but there doesn't appear to be anything in the BSA in architecture folder, thought it didn't make a lot of sense, delete the one from architecture/windhelm folder i'll be doing the same
The fix can't work because the meshe whintcastlelroomfloorwall02 has the same entry for the floor and the ground. So change the pathway whdiamondtile1<->whdiamondtile2 moves only the bug (floor<->ground). :/
it works fine, i've checked in game, the 2 meshes have the correct path...you're right i only looked up at the ceiling in game, i'll have to duplicate a trishape and make a better mesh
Few, made a right balls up with those meshes, how i didn't notice that floor like that is beyond me but i was only looking up at the ceiling, i had to duplicate a trishape with the ceiling texture from one of the other meshes and paste onto the offending mesh, i've looked in game and the floor and ceiling are a match now
I forgot to mention the whtempletalos and whtempletalos2 nifs included with the latest version have the ivy trishape set to hidden, so you won't see it unless you remove those 2 meshes ( or untick hidden on the trishape flag on both meshes ). Depends if you want to see them, i personally hate them although i did have an ivy replacer ages ago which was great
