This is my first mod but there's a number of spells in it. I had a few ideas that I wanted to play with and decided to finally get to try, learn to use the CK and since I'm now having quite some fun with them I though I'd share them. Please keep in mind this is a work in progress, there may be bugs that I haven't yet come across and I still have a few more ideas I plan to work on.
The illusions are all temporary and not supposed to do any damage, they're intended as diversions for stealthy playstyles, while the summons are supposed to be unique versions of vanilla creatures that are very interactive and can do things other creatures can't.
On to the spells:
- Conjure Custom Support Witch: Conjures a custom witch that will receive her master's right hand spell and uses it on herself and her master. Cast while crouched to make her stationary. Interact while standing to grant them a new spell, or while crouching to dismiss them. (These poor souls were enslaved through very dark arts, and are now forced to cast magic for their masters, in a way that looks more like vomiting the magic than using it normally... Be careful with what you give them, they will cast almost anything including modded spells!)
- Conjure Custom Turret Witch: Conjures a custom witch that will receive her master's right hand spell and use it during combat. Cast while crouched to make them stationary. Sheathe to stop them from casting. Interact while standing to grant them a new spell, or while crouching to dismiss them. (I made these before the support types thinking of the awesome custom magic totems in Path of Exile. Same as with the support, beware crazy combos! I'm not responsible for the accidental summoning of armies, or any masters getting blown up after giving the girls too much power)
- Conjure Lure: Creates a stationary entity that will draw the attention of friends and minions, acting as a rally point. Cast while crouching to make a hostile lure and draw everyone around. (The conjuration variation of the hostile bait, for when you want to feel like an overlord bossing around your summons and/or your enemies)
- Create Cart Illusion: Creates an illusory cart that blocks the way and line of sight for a short while. Interact while crouched to vanish. (A bit on the broken side for now, may be too useful and may not spawn with textures for some reason when you make too many, but it's fixed when they're "cleaned" over time)
- Create Chair Illusion: Creates an illusory chair that blocks the way for a short while. Enemies can trip on it and fall, vanishing the object. Interact while crouched to vanish. (It can make people fall face first if they get too close thinking it's solid)
- Create Female Bait Illusion: Creates a durable female bait illusion that stays still and can take a beating. Sheathe to vanish. (A durable decoy shaped as Maven Blackbriar, let her take the blows intented for you)
- Create Hostile Illusion: Creates a hostile illusion to get the attention of friend and foe alike. Cast near a target to use "patsy" on them, making them merge with the illusion and appear hostile to everyone else. Interact while crouched to vanish. (A brittle illusory forsworn that will attract enemies as much as the city guard, now combined with "patsy")
- Create Male Bait Illusion: Creates a cowardly male bait illusion that runs straight, drawing attention along with it. Unsheathe to make him stop running and turn attackers into easy prey. (A running decoy shaped as Nazeem. For taking enemies with him and away from you)
- Create Plague Illusion: Creates an illusory rat plague that causes a commotion among friends and enemies. (Skeevers are spawned over time from the casting point, very useful even for a non-stealthy approach)
- Create Troll Bait Illusion: Creates a bratty illusion to attract attention. Unsheathe to make it stationary or sheathe to control the illusion remotely and manipulate targets into following it. (The first illusion I made, it looks like Braith. It evolved from a static decoy to a pretty amusing remote controlled scout drone)
- Create Barrel Illusion: Creates an illusory barrel that blocks the way and line of sight for a while. Relocates in front of caster after movement. Interact while crouched to vanish. (My attempt at a Metal Gear cardboard box. It can hide you for a cheap price with a unique twist)
- Create Shrub Illusion: Creates an illusory shrub that can conceal the caster for a short while. (Going Far Cry here. Place your own piece of stealthy greenery wherever you want, get inside to stay hidden and act without consequences. This one is pretty great, which reminds me I should balance the costs.)
- Conjure Hound Wolf:
Conjures a specially trained hound wolf. Crouch to make them fetch the enemies and bring them to you. Stand up to let them attack normally. Sheathe to control them directly and charge forward.
(Play fetch!)
- Conjure Troll Brawler
Conjures a specially trained brawler troll. Crouch to make them shove enemies away from you. Stand up to let them attack normally. Sheathe to control their movements directly.
(What's better than a fus ro dah? An army of angry little walking fus ro dahs)
- Conjure Chaurus Kidnapper
Conjures a specially trained chaurus kidnapper. Crouch to make them grab enemies. Stand up to let them attack normally. Sheathe to control their movements directly.
- Create Bush Illusion
Creates an illusory bush that can conceal the caster for a short time
- Create Bush Line Illusion
Creates an illusory line of bushes that can conceal the caster's movements for a short time.
(Like the shrub but for moving around)
- Create Enchanted Shrub Illusion
Creates an enchanted shrub pair that can make people and creatures lose themselves within one and appear inside the other. Cast while moving to move from your position to the target, and while staying still to bring targets to your position.
(Inspired by enchanted woods where people would get lost and appear somewhere else, or disappear entirely. A fun and useful twist of a teleporting spell for moving yourself and others)
- Mimic Illusion
Hide in plain sight as a chest if cast while not moving, or set a mimic trap by casting while moving. In mimic mode stay still to hide or move to return to normal. In trap mode charge a spell with left hand to make it talk. In either mode jump to give anyone close a terrifying jumpscare.
(My latest attempt at a Metal Gear cardboard box, combined with the classic stealthy enemies from many fantasy media, the mimics. A few fun things inside a single spell)
- Conjure Dwarven Spider Drone
Conjures a dwarven spider drone. Sheathe to remote control. Charge any spell with left hand to cloak the spider. Jump to make it use a discharge that will temporarily stun anyone caught.
(This one is inspired by cyberpunk stuff like Watch Dogs and Cyberpunk itself)
- Overlord
Command all summoned creatures around. Charge a spell to make your minions move. With left hand they'll return to you, with the right they'll charge forward. Sheathe to assume direct control and move them around. Jump while sheathed and crouching to dismiss them all. A nexus may hold additional information.
The last part refers to this nexus, the description was too long, but there's more. If you crouch, your minions will become harmless (unless they have harmful auras), this is to be combined with the "Bring them to me!" command. If your conjuration level is at least 75, charging a spell with your left hand will become "Bring them to me!", making your minions "grab" the enemies and bring them along to you. And if your conjuration level is 100, the right hand spell charging will make them trample enemies in the way as they charge forward, like the good old shield charge but in the form of minion pseudo cavalry
(I've wanted to do this since forever. For me a game where summons are either limited to 1 minion, or are just summon and forget types with no additional controls are boring. Inspired by the Overlord games and other awesome things about having and controlling many minions.
You can see messages on screen as if they are the player's voice giving commands. Obey! when casting the spell, Come here! when charging magic with your left hand, Charge!!! when charging magic with your right hand, and Disappear! when disbanding them)
Please don't use this on summoned dragons, I've noticed it causes CTD
How to obtain them: Since this is a work in progress and I'm still doing changes I haven't yet incorporated them into the game properly, I''d like to add them to vendors but for now please use the console commands 'help' to obtain the spell IDs and 'addspell' to add them to your character like so:
help "spell name"
player.addspell "spell id"
Enjoy!
