Please leave feedback here! Let me know if any of the children are goofy-looking to you, and I'll make changes based on popular suggestions. Also report any issues and I''ll see what I can do! --- Some of the faces come out quite different to how I edited them - I can only assume this is affected by the children's expression/mood settings (sometimes the eyes and brows go real strange), so I have to keep making tweaks to adjust to that. I can keep track of this here! Add suggestions by leaving a comment :)
Suggestions - Beast children - Falmer children - Snow elf children added here. - Vanilla hair

Just a warning for anyone wanting to use this mod: it doesn't seem to work with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions, most custom homes, or just not at all in general. Neither the original nor this version. I'm not sure if it's compatibility issues with every other mod on Nexus or if the mod itself is just bugged to death, but it's essentially unusable. Adopted kids won't go to your house. If somehow they do go they don't function correctly. The other kids disappear or don't work if you try to adopt one, etc. etc. Recommend avoiding unless someone manages to uncover every incompatibility or makes a patch.
I'm trying to use this with the Nolvus modpack but for some reason it keeps turning my map solid blue and I can't see anything. Any reason this could be happening and/or is there some kind of fix?
I only came across this mod through jayserpa's Gate to Sovngarde Collection! Thank you for all your amazing work, I've installed your mods through every playthrough because I always wanted to adopt multiple kids XD
I was wondering, is there any chance I could include/expand any of these children for a planned quest mod? It might be a while until I get to it, but I am curious to hear what you think.
I have a dark elf boy named Ashur (did he used to be Aymar?) with weird kind of shiny hair. I'm guessing this is due to a missing texture, but when I look in SSEdit to see what texture, I find the mesh for the hair seems to be missing as well. It's looking for an "xSummer\S4 Hair\" folder that I don't seem to have. It wasn't part of this download, and it wasn't part of the KS Hairdo's download. Any idea what it is and where I might get it? Also, I'm confused as to how this kid has any hair at all. Because apparently it's not just a missing texture, it's a missing mesh! Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.
Did you ever find an answer to this? Because I just got the mod working tonight and am having the same issue you are having. Shiny/plastic looking hair from the forehead to around the top of the ears, as if a mesh is missing ;_;
Might not be the same problem you guys are having, but for what it's worth: I also had the issue where Ashur/Aymar had weirdly plastic-y, missing-texture looking hair -- but the majority of other Realistic RS and Elven children were unaffected -- and for me this was solved by having the KS Hairdos mod activated and above Realistic Elven Children in my load order. And I'm not using the Realistic Elven Children optional file for the KS Hairdos. Just the standalone main file.
(I'm also using Immersive KS Hairdos and Salt & Wind, if that makes any difference -- although I don't think it should.)
As relative position of these mods in my load order goes: RSkyrimChildren.esm KS Hairdo's.esp RSChildren.esp RealisticRSChildren.esp Aymarandfriends.esp
I don't know if I've encountered a bug or what, but it's frustrating me to no end. I found the little dunmer girl in Winterhold on one playthrough, but on my new game I cannot find her anywhere. I have waited in game hours, fast traveled away, waited more in game hours, and she's just no where to be found. Has anyone else experienced disappearing children as well? If you adopt one, do some of the others just vanish? I found the two boomer kids, the orc kid is hanging around Warmaidens, but the little dunmer girl in Winterhold has disappeared completely.
I’m experiencing the same issue, the Markarth kid, the Winterhold kid, and the Solitude kid are nowhere to be found, but I was able to find the Orc kid in the camp, as well as the twins in the other camp.
Edit/Update: somehow the next time I loaded that problematic save file all the kids showed up where they were supposed to be lol idk what happened 🤷♂️😅
For some reason Llevana, the two siblings, and Faelian all look like vanilla children and they're bald. I already removed Chases-Starlight which made Eilonwy look like how she is supposed to but the others are still bald.
Not necessarily. I didn't download any optional file, and I have different names for the children. It's not a big deal to me. It's just there. Just letting you know that it's not necessarily that someone downloaded an optional file because I didn't.
