As always, save your game before you try out a mod, my mod is no exception.
You will sometimes (not all the time luckily for you) encounter some quirky sense humor, so be warned heh.
Don't forget to unlock the Skyrim borders. To do this, go to your Skyrim.ini file in Documents > My Games > Skyrim. NOT the ini file in your load order where the game itself is installed. Open it, put the line: bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 , then save it and the borders in the game are disabled. After installing, save your game and restart your saved game. Otherwise you won't hear dialogues from NPC's
Also downloadable from this site: Alternate Start Extension Haafstad gives you the opportunity to start a new life with your character in one of these locations! Credits go to Arthmoor, jknjb and Izzik!
Compatible with: BS Bruma Beyond Reach Unique Border Gates Seapoint - but in the load order first Haafstad, then Seapoint. There is still a bit trouble with the landmass, but to a far lesser degree.
Version 6.5 is just like it's predecessors, a small update, solving a few small errors, but had to be done. I only worked on the esp file. The bsa file is still the same.
BUT
I also uploaded a patch which contains armor for the Breton soldiers in my mod. I used these armor form the recourses mod " NordwarUA Mod Resource" uploaded by DanielUA. You can not craft the armor yourself, but you can buy them from your local shop.....in Kirkmore. Have fun!
P.s.: Hopefully the ArmorAddOn finally works with the 6.5.2. version.
I am having the issue as I approach the bridge and the boats, they all disappear. I have the border regions turned off as well but the textures just disappear. The island is also disappearing. I have no clue what is causing it. Are there any other mods that cause textures to just disappear?
I have never experienced this issue. Although I had once seen a few guards near the border turning invisible, but this had to do with my mod load order.
I finally solved the issue. I just loaded an older version and now it is working. I can't specifically say what was causing the issue however. I downloaded the 6.0 LOD version which is the working version.
So there I was at the Kirkmore inn relaxing, drinking and listening to the bard girl's tunes after a day's adventuring. I even got a private lute lesson from her and was sweet talking her through ORomance mod. I rented the room and manged to ORomance her into following me into the bedroom if you know what I mean... It's all very immersive don't worry. Was slowly walking up the stairs looking at her behind when suddenly as soon we arrived at the top of the stairs I could see the old innkeeper dude ripping out a massive fart right on top of my bed.. It completely spoiled the mood.. I could swear with the amount of shenanigans in this mod the mod author scripted this in just for situations like this.. 10/10 completely immersive
You also have downloaded the HaafstadArmorAddOn? And installed it after the main file? And it applies only for the Bretons in Kirkmore and west behind the Skyrim border, not the Bretons living in Skyrim.
First you have to install Haafstad main mod. Then install the armoraddon. The armoraddon esp should override the Haafstad esp. This should as the armoraddon esp it is the Haafstad esp + armor. This is only applies for Breton soldiers in my mod and only in Kirkmore and west of the Skyrim Border.
Thank you for letting me know. I will take a look at it very soon. If this is the case, it can easily be fixed and uploaded. I have some spare copies. Which armor can not be crafted anymore?
all the vanilla items appear in the forge not the new armor
but the guards in high rock wear them
though idk if this is a glitch or Feature but all the guards in the Solitude border checkpoint and in the docks have normal vanilla armor, not the breton armor.

All the guards in the Solitude border checkpoint in Skyrim have vanilla armor. That's correct! I still haven't found a (stable) way to let the imperial guards change to stormcloak guards and visa versa, when the Stormcloaks lose resp. win the war. So this is a solution for the time being. But the Breton guards stationed near the border in High Rock have Breton armor.
Thanks! And, no armor addons for both Nyhus and Folkstead yet. For these mods it is not a necessity I think, although perhaps maybe for the Redguards in Morreath (Folkstead) in the future.
Hi, enjoying your mod so far, and just so happens I noticed the armor update today and installed: one big problem... with the armor patch installed, I get guards with red triangles around them and their bodies are missing!
I'm not sure what I did wrong. I am allowing the armor mod to overwrite the main mod?
Very weird. If I disable the armor mod their bodies return to the previous Nord form.
That’s strange. Good you let me know. I hadn’t that issue yesterday after testing but will do another test tonight then and will let you know. EDIT: Indeed. Somehow I also have that problem. I forgot to test it yesterday with a clean install. I am going to solve it. EDIT: solved and uploaded it: Version: 6.5.2

i think the added armor you can craft in the forge replaces a lot of the vanilla items in the forge, making them uncraftable
they can still be found in the world, just can't be crafted
they appear in the forge again after disabling the addon
