I am a fairly competent modder and could NOT get the coverage values to show up in the inventory menu. This combined with a new game fixed all of my issues and Frostfall works perfectly now!
Not always. People used to report that they had troubles to get the mod working correctly. Only repacking and installing it as a one mod made it work for some reason. I literally had hundreds of people who managed to completely fix it this way.
I can only see problems get solved by repacking for those who still use primitive programs like NMM wich messes up everything in your game folder. If anyone is still using that then yes, re-packing these mods as this guide instructs can potentially solve your problems.
I just had in my hands on Skyrim AE and tried the survival mode for the first time...I will probably go back to Frostfall in next playthrough. I really hope it continues to work on AE version.
Sorry I have spent some time outside Skyrim modding. Unfortunately I have no information regarding that mod because it's completely new to me and I haven't had time to touch it yet.
*Warning someone with no natrual skill with computers and needs step by step how to. Slowly but surely I'm learning, my brain just doesn't work that way*
So over all this has really helped get most of the issues I've been having with this mod sorted, thank you very much for that. I've done the other way 5 time just today and couldn't get it to run right. I kept getting an error saying Profile Read/Write Failed. It wanted me to create a data file for frostfall. Mod organiser/overwrite/skse/plugins/FrostfallData Problem is that folder was already there. Now I got it running 99% right but have 0 warmth and covrage even though my equipment has vaules under the equipment tab. I'm wearing a LODB armor set and cloak that was working before frostfall decided not to work this time. (I installed keeping it clean and had to re tweak my mod list and something angered frostfall again.) I'm going to try a different armor set and see it if that fixes it. I'll figure it out at some point and will update this when I do but any insight anyone wants to share would be great. Until then I'll be at my keyboard making Tim the Toolman grunts.
So in that game save I couldn't get it to work at 100%, I was lvl 89 and it already was getting really glitchy. So I started a fresh game and that did the trick everything thing is working smoothy with the same mod list
Sorry for the wait. Spend some time outside Skyrim modding. It definitely might be the save file problem but glad that you were able to get around with.
Unlike a lot negative comments here about just using the unofficial patch, I really appreciate the step by step guide. As a serious modder I've learned sometimes it's better to know what's going on, and to do it yourself then just relying on patches. I'm sure the Unofficial patch is completely fine, but knowing what it actually does is always a good thing imo. Thank you for taking the time to make this guide.
No problem. I don't consider them to be "negative" comments. They are also correct answers to this but sometimes they won't just work for everyone which is why I wanted to create a fool proof solution for this issue. If the normal way doesn't work, this will.
I had troubles with my previous account mostly because of personal reasons so I decided to remove it and start from the beginning. I noticed that I did some things that wished I wouldn't have done and that's pretty much it.

No extra stuff is required. Just sayin'.

I've linked your old guide to people before, it seemed to help them. How come you took it down?
