About this mod
Don't you feel like Bethesda removed a bit too much from Skyrim's combat just by making potions take effect immediately? Just wonder on the possibilities laying before you just by letting the effects of potion linger a little bit. Magnificent, eh?
- Permissions and credits
This mod is going to change the effects of potions from taking place immediately to lingering between 4 and 10 seconds.
It also affects most food items, making them actually usable for something. They heal small amounts but last long. Usually 1 hp/s.
Last but not least they affect the weight of some foods and all ordinary "restore" potions.
I really liked the feel and flow of Skyrim when it came out in 2011. So i always try to preserve that and then improve on it without changing too much. Skyrim mostly remains the same just with a bit more logic to it.
Hint: Anything with high amount of sugar in it gives you a quick hp boost. ;)
Updates: 1.0.1 - Converted the plugins into esl.
1.0.2 - Changed the description of all food and potions, so that it does not break immersion. No more (Restore 27 points of Health for 0 seconds).
1.0.3 - Changed of the restoring values of all food items now it's all based on weight, rarity, and if it's cooked or not. It is also much harder to abuse.
1.0.4 - Fixed typo. Added a few missing foods and potions. Removed all other versions, since they were immersion breaking.
Limitations: Sadly if i don't change the description of potions and foods, some of the descriptions won't make too much sense. So the amount of Health (for example) restored won't be stated, the description only says that it restores health rapidly.
Created potions does not display the amount they are going to heal either, sadly, they do work thou... Instantly :(.
Compatibility: Anything that changes potion description or values is probably incompatible. Mesh and texture changes should be fine.
Installation: Either manually or with modding tool, either way is fine. It's just an ESL.
