Description

Vanilla inns offer you about 10 completely random food items (including salt, carrots, and tomatoes) and even fewer drinks.
This mod gives them new food lists, remade from scratch, mostly pre-defined (with some items and the number of most items randomized) and based on the location and the size of the inn. With vanilla lists you hardly can find "normal" food to satisfy your hunger, but with this mod you and your followers can stay in the inn for some time before the stock update and even choose the food you prefer. At the same time, all raw food and ingredients are removed.
Covered: All vanilla Skyrim inns, The Retching Netch, New Gnisis Cornerclub, The Ragged Flagon, Honningbrew and Black Briar meaderies (the last one just got a randomization to the mead number).

You might not know this but merchants also sell items from the world that are owned by their vendor faction. For innkeepers, this mechanic was only used in The Bannered Mare and New Gnisis Cornerclub, which looks rather accidental than intentional. I removed ownership from those items (which still doesn't mean you can take them for free, since they now inherit ownership from the parent cell), except for some on New Gnisis counter, but also added ownership to few items on counters of other inns so you buy them from the counter.

Compatibility

  • Patches avialable in the installer: The Stumbling Sabrecat, SunHelm Survival, High Fantasy Whiterun (Class Disparity option).
  • More patches can be found in Tavern Menu Remade - Patch Collection by SabatoMods.
  • Make sure that no mods override containers edited by this mod, otherwise you won't see any changes. The item ownership edits are not essential but better patch them too if there are conflicts.
  • This mod doesn't affect mod-added inns without a patch. Patches can be made by editing their containers to use existing "TMR_Container_..." leveled lists or custom ones (also place one TMR_DistributeToSmall/Medium/BigInns list into your list).
  • Mod-added food won't appear in affected inns. CACO is technically compatible but none of its items will be avialable in inns. Any items can be distributed to affected inns by placing them into leveled list TMR_DistributeToAll/Small/Medium/BigInns, there's also a pre-distributed list TMR_Water that you can use to add non-SunHelm water bottles.
