I really, really like this mod. It's certainly not flashy, but it is very functional, and the backstory is nice.

It pairs well as an end game home for a mage character during a survival playthrough, as you can dump all your survival gear and use the mask to get out of any situation where you're freezing. You can just put on the wooden mask and settle by a hot fire, sleep in a cozy bed, and make a warm stew to recover.

Sometimes when I'm reading the in game books or studying spells, I'll use the mask repeatedly over a few days, teleporting between Bromjunaar and a small stream in Whiterun or Riften, to get water and fish for food.

I also like how simple the decor and furniture is, and being able to remove the skeleton is a nice touch. It has all the vanilla crafting benches and just enough storage. My only feedback would be to add some extra bookcases ringing the outer room, but that's a personal preference.

Thanks for making such a nice player home!

I have test "Better Wooden Mask - Bromjunaar Treasury" and i love the idea, but.
When I put on the mask, I'm there. If I take it off, I'll stay in this place. If I put it somewhere else, I'm not in Bromjunaar. I will test your mod and hope it is better. Because I think the idea is great. You put on the mask and you are in Bromjunaar where you can put all artifacts, masks and unique items. E.g. the elder scrolls, daedra weapons.

    Will Test it <3

Hey there! Thanks for checking the mod out!
I wanted to clarify that this mod will not change anything to do with the teleportation effect on the Wooden Mask, like "Better Wooden Mask - Bromjunaar Treasury" does.
I thought about implementing something like it, but then I found "Skywyze Bromjunaar Anywhere" (linked in Recommended mods in the mod description) which did exactly what I wanted it to do, namely removed the restriction of having to be in the Labyrinthian to be transported.
I do have plans on making something similar in the future for this mod though.
      Happy Skyrim exploring!

Hope you do get around to making that teleport function. I'm also using Skywyze's script for the teleport function, but it's not perfect as the player needs to back out of the inventory menu to allow the teleport to work, unlike the vanilla wooden mask. I've tried a few other Bromjunaar teleport mods and they all have this problem. After spending a day fiddling with the script I'm unable to resolve it. Maybe this only happens on my installation? Be good to have the confirmation.

Hmm... So I implemented the teleportation. I kept it as close to the original wooden mask script as I could. The vanilla wooden mask also requires you to close the inventory before starting the teleportation (or actually, it requires the time to be unpaused so the wait time can go by).

I love the idea. If you could also add a bed and replace the blacksmith table with the vanilla one, please, because your custom one looks like it could fall on your feet at any moment :)

      I'm glad you like it!
It does look odd doesn't it? Definitely not what I was going for, but I'm still figuring out how the 3D model importing pipeline works. Bedroom and workbench are definitely top priority for next update.
I'll release a version with the vanilla workbench real soon, maybe even make it the main file until I figure out how to make a custom workbench look good.

Take a look at Elianora's houses or other player house mods, there are plenty of mods to look at for ispiration. I just suggest you don't go over the top with it, I like the semplicity of it. A full bedroom is not necessary, this an hideout for your most prescius itemes (daedric artifacts etc), not your character home. A simple bed to sleep it when he's travelling, not too fancy, maybe just a bedroll. Maybe you could add a few weapons ranks and shield ranks to display weapons, but please not manniquenes... They are... Creepy...

Bed/bedroll either would be nice to have. I love how it kould be "maybe" made to work outside of mods that keep track of time! The location of Bromjunaar like Whiterun makes for a nice place to stop in a rest them sore feet! mannaquins are creepy.

That is such a cool idea! I have an idea on how to implement the time-stop effect, but I'll take my time and make sure I don't mess up everyone's save game with bad scripts lol.

Hello Dylbills positioner lets you copy any item in game take them to other places and position them how you want I use to build custom homes. I also use additem to search through mods for furniture etc.
  4. I'm literally about to start a Dragon Priest character planning to stake out in Bromjunaar, it's like you read my mind! Thank you for this :) Do you know if there's any potential conflict with Wintersun, since committing to following The Old Ways involves travel to Bromjunaar?

It is compatible with Wintersun. That mod just adds a small shrine to the left of the mask busts, which is unoccupied and unchanged by my mod.
Thank the divines for that, I would not stand for incompatibility with Enai's mods.
Just a note though. I changed the music for Bromjunaar to the low volume background Sovngarde chant. If you want to keep that, load my mod after Wintersun. If you like the original dungeon music load Wintersun after my mod.

Bromjunaar is my number one favourite location in the game. This blankets flatering on the wind near the entrance cover the sight and tease you with ancient secrets of dragon cult past, yet you cant leave the sanctuary. Sending chills down my spine every time I try to look past them and see endless void of empty location.
