I really like this mod, but I want to clarify a question : The vampire lord doesn't have feed animation , is this a problem on my end or is this how the mod is supposed to be?
now i dont know if this is a bug or something, but for the blue blood quest ive found out that its impossible to gain the perks from feeding on powerful mortals using the vampire seduction power. The only way to gain the powers by feeding is if the npc is asleep, which is a big issue for Mercer Frey and Elenwen since theyre never asleep. Now i dont want to sound judgemental or hostile towards the creator of this mod, but what were you thinking when you made Elenwen a target for the quest? i could understand Mercer frey since you can be around him almost all the time during the thieves guild questline, however Elenwen is very missible since you cant get ahold of her if youve completed the malborn quest without using console commands to unlock the embassy door. Now ive watched a video on yotube of someone doing the quest, using a vampire seduction spell on Mercer Frey to feed on him, and apparently it worked, and the powers from feeding were added, so it must be a bug only for me. I was wondering if there is some kind of set stage sort of command to bypass this quest? Or anything around the issue? Help would be very much appreciated! Great mod nonetheless

They both go to the same feed function.
- Script lag? Heavy script lag can cause scripts to fail halfway, and this code is near the end. - Mod that changes the feed perk?

Observe that the quest has more targets than there are unlocks. You complete it without having to hit every target, so it doesn't matter if you miss some. That's "what I was thinking".

Why would you cheat instead of fixing your issue that will undoubtedly have other consequences. Anyway, just use the console to give yourself the abilities. You have their names, you know how to use help and addspell.
I do not want to use the console to complete the quest. I would only use it as an alternative if there are no other ways around the issue. Thanks for the reply, the fact that you don't need to feed on every target to complete the quest is great!
I've heard conflicting reports on whether the patch works or not. Either there's an issue with the patch or RaceCompatibility is too complicated for most players. I believe it's the latter because its patches are split between UMOD installer options and separate files and there are apparently two Scion patches so I don't think it's the players that are wrong.
Regardless, RaceCompatibility's insistence on paving over your other mods with loose files remains a bother and the world would be a better place if race mod creators would write literally 4 lines of papyrus and use the formlists I've provided instead of adding a dependency.
So i keep getting the warning that a mod is overwriting the PlayerVampireQuestScript or whatever, and per the instructions i make sure this mod is loaded as low as possible, certainly below any other script mods, but the warning keeps happening. I've never installed any mods inside my base data folder beyond skse and enbseries so its definitely not that, and the RaceCompatibility's file is also loaded above Sacro (its also the only file with the PVQS file in my mods folder), MO2 doesn't say anything is overwriting Sacrosanct so im kinda stumped here.
Loose files overwrite that of the packed BSA files in the mods, you dont need racecompatibility for sacrosanct, unless you have other mods that depend on it, in which case, I guess you are SOL.
RC was needed for a different mod, but it wasn't the issue, one of the script fix compilation mods was editing the file turns out, i just reinstalled and disabled that particular fix.
In my case I solved it by disabling all mods and reenabling group by group. Other way - try to find other vampire mods you have, disable them and enable one by one. My problem was using the mod "Dawnguard Revert - You Are Hated And Feared SE". Maybe problem is smth like that.

I mean Sacrosanct already does that. :P
RaceCompatibility
Doesn't matter where it is in your load order, it comes as loose files so the game thinks it's a mod you're working on and will give it precedence regardless of load order because RaceCompatibility is more important than anything else in your load order. There's a Sacrosanct patch for RC but it hasn't been updated in years and there are conflicting reports whether it still works or not.
I reported this in the RC community and got told to wear a suit and say thank you.
Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone can help me out with a small bug. When I download this mod through Vortex, it's listed as a "Skyrim Vr" game, and when it's about to install into my Skyrim SE, it says that I downloaded a mod with no compatible managed game, but gives me the option to install it onto Skyrim SE anyway. However, When I start the game, Sacrosanct (or for that matter the past 4 mods that I've downloaded so far) will not load in the game, with all of them having the common denominator of being listed as "Skyrim Vr". Any ideas as to what could be happening?
Never mind, I believe I solved the issue. In Vortex, if you go to extensions and disable "Skyrim Vr" and re download the mods affected, it should solve the issue.
Should most NPC's be protected by "String of Prophecy"? I am blood starved so I cannot drain normally so I tried to "lethally" drain a blood thrall and it told me it was protected by a string of prophecy. Tried to do it to a guard in the Markarth barracks as well, same thing. Does this mean they are essential? If so, this is odd, because I can kill them if I hit them with a weapon.
Can't drain anyone. All characters are "Protected by a string of prophecy". Seems to be a mod issue, some mod is putting the protected flag on all characters, a lot of people are having the same issue. What I don't understand is how come NOBODY has figured out what is causing this.
If anyone else is having the same issue, can you send me your mod list? Let's review what mods we share and find the issue. This is very annoying.
Edit: Found it! It's Path of Sorcery, from the restoration perks, the perk "Aura of Light" is making npcs protected
can you add option to change Vampire's Seduction to work like in scion mod? - instead of aimed spell its self cast and you can feed on npcs by activating them.

Update: Issue allegedly caused by RaceCompatibility. You don't need RaceCompatibility with Sacrosanct, it already supports custom races by default.
