Installing the recent USSEP update during a playthrough supposedly breaks this mod, causing the script conflict popup. This is not actually the case and this mod does not need an update for compatibility with the latest version of USSEP.
Instead, it appears that updating USSEP (which uses third party tools to make itself a master file like the official game files) seems to do something to your load order that causes it to take priority over mods that are supposed to be loaded after it. The script conflict popup thus occurs because USSEP is overriding your mods.
It is said that going into your mod menu fixes it, or you may have to manually move USSEP back to the top. Either way, this is out of my control and seems to be due to a bug with either the update process, USSEP's nonstandard and unsupported file type or the interaction between both.
It appears that the 6.0.0 changelog is not visible for some users due to a Nexus bug. For those who can't see it as a result:
This is a maintenance update to fix some common bugs and bugbears to bridge the gap until a planned 7.0.0 content update.
Fix issue where max perks was 1 higher than the actual amount of perks, preventing players from attaining the achievement for a full Vampire Lord perk tree.
Abilities - Dominate: Reduce magnitude from 25% -> 10% and duration from 25% -> 15%.
Abilities - Moonlit Waters: Remove conditional waterwalking. (Due to the Skyrim condition bug, long term conditional effects will eventually start to glitch out.)
Abilities - Still Heart: Reduce magnitude from 25% -> 10%.
Hemomancy - Blood Brand: Reduce damage per second from 5 -> 3. (Blood spells were balanced for the fact that they do not stack with themselves; however, this disadvantage was nullified once their damage grew high enough to one hit enemies.)
Hemomancy - Blood Garden: Reduce damage per second from 10 -> 8.
Hemomancy - Blood Scourge: Reduce damage per second from 20 -> 15.
Hemomancy - Blood Seed: Reduce damage per second from 6 -> 4.
Perks - Lamae's Pyre: Reduce damage per second from 75 -> 50.
Rank rewards - Blood Knight: Increase Stamina cost from 50 -> 100. (The ability to stagger and feed for an instant kill when starving should require SOME Stamina investment.)
Rank rewards - Eye of the Predator: Now uses illusion spell target selection, making it work on more targets.
Rank rewards - Mytherceria: Changed effect from changing the rate of day and night -> shrinking the window of sunlight by one hour at dawn and dusk, this also applies to Vampire Lord form. (There is a follower mod that pops up an error message about game corruption whenever the timescale is changed by any amount. This message is incorrect, but scares users who did not read the compatibility notes.)
Vampire Lord - Blood Storm: Increase explosion radius from 5 -> 10 feet.
Vampire Lord - Raze: Fix Blood of the Ancients effect stealing Magicka instead of Stamina.
Vampire Lord - Royal Bloodline: Now grants the correct stats (250 each in H/M/S) at level 50+.
Vampire Lord - Tremble: Now has the correct radius.
I notice the eyes of NPCs turned into a vampire w/ Foster Child often temporarily go back to normal non-vampire eyes, generally when loading saves, changing cells, etc. I can disable -> enable the npc and the npc's eyes will go back to vampire after a few seconds, but this is tedious to do repeatedly and doesn't help with immersion. If left alone eventually the eyes seems to turn back to vampire but it usually takes a while.
Does anyone know why this happens and if there's a way to fix it?
Hello! just here to say what a nice of mod! i always play with it since i love vampire on skyrim and totally forgot to endorse it.... i did it! yipee thanks for the update (thank for that
Abilities - Moonlit Waters: Remove conditional waterwalking. (Due to the Skyrim condition bug, long term conditional effects will eventually start to glitch out.)
I have downloaded the latest version and it does not work. Sacrosanct reports of integrity issues with PlayerVampireQuestScript and DLC1PlayerVampireChangeScripts and I can not in fact become a vampire. My Skyrim is 1.6.1170 and I have tested it on new game without mods exept USSEP and Alternate start. Edit: I found the reason of an issue. I have forgotten to install a compatibility patch for Sacrosanct in Race Compatibility mod.
Had the same error message, installed the patch for Sacrosanct in Race Compatibility mod, and no longer have the error message pop up for PlayerVampireQuestScript and DLC1PlayerVampireChangeScripts. Weird since mod author states, it already has this feature built in.
Hi, guys. I was having the same problem, and, even after reading this post and going after the aforementioned "Race Compatibility Patch" (I got the "RC_SacroSanct_Patch_By_GroundAura_For_5_17_And_6.0" for the latest Sacrosanct 6.0 version), I still get the same message when loading my game. Mind you, I haven't started Dawnguard yet, and I am not even a vampire. In other words, with or without the RaceCompatibility patch, it doesn't work.
I have Sacrosanct loaded last on my Load Order. That's all. Could anyone please take a moment to analyze this order? Thank you very much.
-RaceCompatibilityUSKPOverride.esp -Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp -Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim.esp -Sacrosanct Patch StrangeRunes.esp -RaceCompatibility-Sacrosanct-Patch.esp (plus 4 extra mods for Realistic Water and ELFXs) -End
Searched the web and found a fix for it. First of all, I downloaded "Improved Camera - Sacrosanct patch", which, by itself, was another mod messing up with the same "PlayerVampireQuestScript" file. Then, moved over to RaceCompatibility mod folder and straight up deleted the same file from the "Script" folder.
If you're a new vamp lord then you should have the lord's servant spell and bats power with raze auto equipped in the right hand. The others have to be unlocked through the skill tree. Is everything gone?
Hi, I love the mod but I am having a problem with the Vampire Lord the Auto equipped raze and servant spell don't appear when I transform and I can't get them to come back I tried to level up to the upgraded version of raze in the skill tree and it worked but as soon as I switched out of my VL form and came back it was gone.
Hello, love the mod! Is it at all possible to roll back skill choices? I've seen the console commands for adding to your age: "set SCS_Mechanics_Global_Age to 9999" Is it possible to roll back (eg set SCS_Mechanics_Global_Age to 0) to start again? I'd neglected to do a proper save before selecting. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update: Issue allegedly caused by RaceCompatibility. You don't need RaceCompatibility with Sacrosanct, it already supports custom races by default.

This fixed my problem as well :)

Done. Sacrosanct is working now.
So once I get vampire lord form I cant use any of the magic for it. I disabled this mod and they suddenly come back.
Removing RaceCompatibility when you are already a vampire is too late. Installing it will overwrite Sacrosanct and break it.
Is it possible to roll back (eg set SCS_Mechanics_Global_Age to 0) to start again? I'd neglected to do a proper save before selecting. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
