I'm sorry. It was the mod "At Your Own Pace" that was causing it, not your mod. The default price for that mod is actually 250,000 gold not 25,000. Completely absurd and unattainable lol.
This is pretty nice for what it is, a straightforward single room shelter. But you can't realistically call it a Hall anymore - a better name for this version might be Vlindrel Hole-In-The-Wall.
Thankyou, this little house is awesome. Fantastic use of space and great atmosphere. Had an issue with the lighting which I finally narrowed down to Relighting Skyrim, removed Vlindrel Hall from the latter and now it looks right. Great mod.
Cozy, refined and creatively decorated (without breaking immersion). What wizardry is this?? Thank you, kind modmaker!
P.S.: Love the Dwemer coherer. Still have as much of an idea of what the blasted thing does as I did back in Morrowind. Will update if/when my character figures it out.
Alright, so I don't know why this doesn't have a ton more downloads or endorsements. This little house mod is wonderful.
I've never been a huge fan of Vlindrel Hall, nor many Dwemer-inspired houses or mods (too cold and stony for my taste). But there's something warm and inviting, yet alien and ethereal about this mysterious little abode. Granted Inigo and I just left Blackreach recently, so this naturally caught my eye. All the static decorations look great, all the activators seem to work fine, and I had no issues with either Inigo nor Lydia entering, waiting, or leaving with me. Downloaded with Vortex, went and purchased the house from the steward, and only the appropriate decorations came up for me to purchase (all but the child's bedroom, as stated in description). I spoke to the jarl to become thane, then headed straight over. No housecarl in the house (obviously), but I much prefer it that anyway. Slept and woke up well-rested (as did Inigo it seems; working too hard on his spider-smashing and song-writing I guess lol). Oh and visually, this is about as vanilla as it gets; I don't use lighting mods nor anything that would affect the look of what you see in the pictures.
So yeah, I like Vlindrel Hall now. And yes, I already know I got a little carried away with the photos (testing things, showing angles, making unsolicited Inigo commentary, etc.). But hey I thought this modder deserved to see how much I loved it, so thank you!
TLDR: Simple yet effective. Definitely recommend giving it a try. Endorsed!
thank you so much!! i really, really appreciate comments like these :) also really love the images you've added! i also use Inigo and Lydia as followers frequently. no such thing as unsolicited Inigo commentary, Inigo is always relevant lol. i only use ENBs for screenshots, so for future reference if you wind up liking my work, it's as visually vanilla-friendly as it can get. thank you so much again!! i worked really hard on the bed and the glass sculptures, all of it taking me forever to figure out in outfit studio & nifskope, so i doubly appreciate your kind words
No problem at all. I can appreciate your hard work and attention to detail in here; it seriously shows. Actually funny enough, I recognized your name and saw that I downloaded your vampire honeyside mod before as well (good to know I'm consistent across different characters lol). But yeah, thanks again for what I'm sure is often thankless work, and I wish you all the sweetrolls.
the house looks amazing, but i don't get it why would someone deliberately display powerful artifacts in a home located in some shitty corrupt town. could be at least a little secret or in a basement or dungeon. just not my cup of tea i guess!
