Update (04.06.2023) Added an optional "Modular version" with a fomod installer that allows you to choose the music types you want.
Update (18.05.2023): There is now a "Combat music only" standalone version, which as the name suggests replaces vanilla combat with the combat tracks from the newest version. All exploration and other tracks are still vanilla.
I am also planning a new update which will expand on some of the currently lacking music types (like Tavern, Town and Combat Music). As always, feel free to make some suggestions :)
this pack is great, I only have one complaint, I'm not a super fan of replacing vanilla reward, location reveal and special moments. I think it's out of scope of a music pack mod and should be separated into optional download. for awhile I thought it's one of my audio overhaul mods doing this until randomly today after update I noticed that this mod is the culprit so I reverted them back to vanilla with my own patch. if someone also want to revert it, it's super easy... just revert records like musReward, musDiscoveryTown with a simple patch
Haven't thought of that yet, thanks for the input. I want to have everything in one fomod installer eventually where you can chose what you want in your game, basically one download to rule them all. At the moment there are already so many optional downloads that even more would make everything much more inconvienent to manage and confusing for users. I'll keep that in mind for the next version.
This musics is more than Skyrim deserves, It's like they were made for Witcher 3, but they better than even Witcher 3 deserved., and it is even among the best game music I have ever listened to.

hello! is it possible if there is a version of this music where combat and soundfx is optional? like a fomod? it'll be nice if we could mix and match which music to add
please tell me how you convert mp3 to xwm in 2024.... I have downloaded a bunch of converters and none of them work with windows 10. Error MSVCR100.dll I have downloaded a bunch of windows components and installed them...but nothing works :(
Most recently i've been using the "Yakitori Audio Converter", it works really well for me so far. Usually, i convert wav to xwm, but it should work for mp3 as well.
I found these red forms in xedit but not sure if I should remove the conflicting part from another module or if I can make a patch to fix the problem. Sorry I'm a new modder and I'm stupid.
I would advise against deleting any records from a mod (i learned that the hard way when i was still new to modding, so don't worry XD). But yes, a patch is usually the best way to resolve such a conflict. If the other mod is not a music mod a quick solution is also to just load Nyghtfall last in your load order (but patching is still generally the best solution).
Anyone else having issues with it not replacing the vanilla combat music? There doesn't seem to be any conflicts whatsoever which is leaving me confused here. Necessary addition for every playthrough, and I'm not sure what could be causing this as it was working at one point!
Have you tried loading it last in your load order? If it works fine then, there is most likely a conflict with another mod. Also, can i ask how you found out that there's no conflict? Did you check all mods/plugins in SSEdit for example? If you insist that there's no conflict, let me know.
