Really like the feel of this mod, clearly a lot of work has gone into. I installed it on a new game (640) and aimed to level up a bit before playing it. level 40 or so started it. I love quests like this where you have to think, but at the same time its good to have some kind of confirmation that you are doing it right wether there is a conflict or a bug or I'm just plain thick.
I think a useful tip for new players, if you are anything like me is tidy up your notes and books section for easy access to guides. or have the notes and guides with some kind of prefix. I'm sure I missed something as could not find the key in Riften. I even joined the thieves guild to see if that was a trigger.. tracked his location to the Cabin and had to console my way was offered lots of good stuff and Kira's key, but then I found the blood slave and felt sorry for her but as soon as i tried to kill the occupants my game CTD. Feels like I made too many shortcuts to get there. Anyway a walkthrough is a big ask I know.
I do love the feel of it and its flawless in solitude only one mod effecting the area and that's to Proudspire. The characters are well thought out and great place to shop. It does seem really interesting.
Hi, just run into an issue with one of the radiant quests - Sanctuary Assassin.
Well I assume it's a radiant quest anyway.
Quest sent me to bloodlet throne to kill the Vampire Usurper, which had a marker.
Did that, now quest instructs me to kill the coven traitor, but there's no marker, or seemingly any indication as to who that would be or where I'd find them,
No marker etc, as it's a radiant quest I guess there's no letter/note to tell me who it is?
Hey. Anyone knows why there is no letter from a thief and no key on a table in the Ragged Flagon? I've taken a quest to find a thief in Riften, killed a vigilant in the basement, took two notes from there, killed a vampire assassin north east of Ivarstead and found a secluded cottage, but I can't open it. Do I need to do something else to trigger the key? Or it should have been there from the start and got lost due to some mod conflict?
I'm using few mods that are related to Riften Ratway. Namely Dealing with Daedra, JK's Bee and Barb, JK's Elgrim's Elixirs, The Brotherhood of old. But they mostly add some doors to Ratway or some notes to Ragged flagon. Nothing drastic. The table where the key should be still stands on it's place.
Has to be some sort of mod conflict that's removing the key & note. This is precisely why I avoid mods that alter the vanilla cells. Too many conflicts with other mods...
In the end i just used the console to get spare key. But I have another question. When I got to the Sanctuary there are a lot of thralls and some vampires sell titles of ownership with names. They are quite costly btw. There is also a note telling that to own a thrall, one must purchase a title of ownership, then go to their chambers and take the mark of Dibella from them. But I have not found any named bloodslaves or concubines and no named marks of Dibella. I've purchased the title, but it basicly did nothing. What I wanted to know is: is there any real mechanics of purchasing thralls or was it all just for show?
I'd really like to give this mod a shot, but I see that most of the well-known Solitude overhauls conflict with it. What Solitude mods have any of you used that you can confirm work with this mod? Thanks!
This is why I avoid mods that make drastic edits to the cities/towns. Way too many conflicts & having to find patches for various mods is not my idea of fun. Not to mention the potential for possible fps issues depending upon just how drastic the alterations to each city/town are...
You're a real one for that. I love a good city overhaul, but I've found that too many times they conflict with other fantastic mods that use those city spaces. If I do download a city mod, it's a mod that only adds to the outskirts of a city while not affecting the parts that are already present in the base game. How else am I supposed to get my Winking Skeever Loft if I have a mod that completely changes Solitude's Layout? I'd rather just run with JK's Solitude Outskirts and leave the main city alone.
Thank you for the vast amount of thought, creativity and plain old hard work you put into this mod! I absolutely love the fact that one needs to think, read and consider in order to progress through the quests. Speaking of reading, I teach English Literature, Shakespeare's Tragedies and Histories, and Renaissance Poetry at university. I've not yet completed the quests, but I've already stumbled upon a few texts that have long been dear to me. Good on you for raising the collective IQ!
Finally - someone who actually enjoys using their thinking cap & isn't complaining about the no holding one's hand mechanic of this mod. If you enjoyed Wulfur's & Mistress Kira's, might I also recommend my Volthar Manor Revisited port. It's in the same format/style & forces the user to actually use that thinking cap for a change vs holding one's hand like in vanilla...
Are there plans to do Wulfter's to SSE? I don't have any interest in the vampire content of Kira's, but really want to try Wulfters. It seem only available for Skyrim, all your links go there.
Just a heads-up for everybody. While the idea of this mod is very nice and ff7legend has my thanks for merging this together with mistress Kira, I must warn you. Sometimes this mod can get very cryptic. For example: you need the merchant's perk which isn't described anywhere... Also Wultfur isn't sometimes in the lodge at all. If you want a more relaxing playthrough, be careful when you download this. In my opinion it's a nice idea, but too cryptic for my taste. Also, the lore is so nice, but the way quests progress are very non-immersive for me. It's just an honest opinion: something to take in mind when you download this mod.
Not my design. The mod was designed to make one actually think - not hold one's hand via quest markers & the like. Folks these days would hate playing the old school games of yesteryear seeing as how many of those games were designed with difficult puzzles/unforgiving in-game difficulty.
I don’t suppose someone could help me, I’m having a hard time finding the key to the secluded cottage. It’s not on Delvin’s table and I’ve searched the area thoroughly, even used the find object spell. I don’t know if I’m just super dense and blind, but I searched the whole Flaggon. :(
From what I understand there should be a spare key on Delvin’s table in the Ragged Flagon. Delvin often sits at a table to the side of the bar, there are two letters on his table; one from a contact and the other a threat from Vex, some dishes and food. I can’t find a key. Unless the clues are referring to another table (I have checked all of them), I must be blind.

Absolutely stellar work!
