I'd always thought the whole point of sunfire was that it didn't hurt non-undead, so you can fire them into mixed groups and only damage the vampires / draugr? Especially when vampires are attacking towns and stuff.
The vanilla spell was kinda useless imo, because vampires rarely attack cities unless you install mods that make that encounter have a higher chance. I'm at level 20 now and i never got one vampire attacking a city and the draugr are weak enough that you can use normal spells to easily kill them.. Not to mention this gives you more reason to use this spell since it's now in the destruction school, so destruction perks will affect it. And let's be honest, for all of us mage players out there, when facing draugr/vampire, did we really switch between the classic fire/shock/ice to the dawnguard spells just to kill them? Because i sure as heck didn't in the past playthroughs. Most of us stick with only one offensive element to kill a target, so these spells are very forgettable. This mod somewhat aims to change that! It's perfect for a templar mage/spellsword roleplay
