Update V2:  This update has taken a long time due to other priorities, but I think it's at a good enough point to be released. It isn't perfect, but it's the best I was able to do after months of frustration.
Features:
  • Two Ordinator guards patrol the exterior of the temple in Raven Rock, while a third patrols the interior. They will go to their rooms to sleep occasionally, and if they engage in combat and survive, they will return to their posts. If they die, they respawn at the same rate that Redoran guards respawn.
  • If you commit a crime near the Ordinators, they will try to arrest you like normal guards. They are also equipped with fireball and self-healing spells in addition to their swords.
  • The Ordinator armor now supports Skyrim's weight slider (vanilla proportions), so the armor will match your character's proportions and there won't be any more neck, hand, or feet seams. The armor also has unique ground/inventory meshes, so dropped pieces will now look like the actual armor they're supposed to be.
  • There is now a robed variant of the Ordinator armor, which is a combination of the original Ordinator armor and the New Temple priest robes from the Dragonborn DLC. There are some clipping/weighting issues on this armor that I've tried to fix over and over, but I just can't do it. If anyone more skilled in weight painting for Skyrim is interested in fixing the issues with this armor, you're welcome to do so. I'll add the fixed meshes to the mod and credit you.
The textures for the robes are different in vanilla. If you want the exact textures in the screenshots, install Rustic Clothing. It looks good either way, though.
  • There are now multiple ways to obtain the armor and weapons:
  • Kill the Ordinators and loot their corpses.
  • Break into the Ordinators' rooms and steal their things.
  • Speak to Elder Othreloth in the temple and complete his quest to kill the ashspawn in the temple. He will reward you with a book that teaches you how to craft the armor (on top of giving you gold). Crafting the armor and weapons also requires the Advanced Armors perk. The armor and weapons can be improved without having read the crafting manual, however.
  • An alternative version of the mod without guards or cell edits. The armor must be crafted by first obtaining the quest from Elder Othreloth.
  • I also bumped up the contrast on the armor and made it shinier.

This will probably be the last update to the mod besides minor fixes. Thank you everyone who supported this mod and offered ideas for improvements!

Lore:
  • After the events of Morrowind and the eruption of Red Mountain during the Red Year, worship of the Tribunal fell out of favor. In its place arose the House of Reclamations, which was a return to the worship of the Daedric Princes Azura, Mephala, and Boethia (the Reclamations). Since the once persecuted Ashlanders of Morrowind had continued their worship of the three "good" Daedra over the centuries, they are now much more respected by the New Temple (House of Reclamations). The priesthood of House Indoril, whose Ordinators were responsible for guarding the temples dedicated to the Tribunal before the Red Year, had merged with the New Temple by the 4th era.

Installation:
  • Install with a mod manager or place the files into your data folder.

Compatibility:
  • This mod edits the interior and exterior of the Temple in Raven Rock. It is compatible with Quaint Raven Rock and possibly other mods. However, any mod that edits the area directly in front of the Temple or the interior of the temple may have clipping issues.
  • You might experience light flickering in the temple if you have an interior lighting mod installed. Lights are annoying like that, and I hate dealing with them.
  • Mods that edit the quest given by Elder Othreloth to kill ashspawn in the temple will likely have issues.
  • Perk mods may have minor issues. This mod requires you to have the Advanced Armors perk to craft the armor, but some mods like Ordinator change the name and function of that perk. I tested the mod with Ordinator and it does work. It's just that the perk is called something else and is split into two categories.
