Behold the Doomstryke. My most intricate and beautiful great-sword yet. A gorgeous san mai Damascus blade. An intricate and beautiful ornate guard. Wire wrapped handle with decorated spacers held together with a beautiful Damascus pummel.
The Stats
The sword is on the same level as daedric, but there is a slight twist. It's faster. A slight increase in speed and is much lighter than other great-swords. More historically accurate weight. There is also higher critical damage.
How to acquire the sword
For such a beautiful sword I wanted to do something a little more unique in acquiring the blade. Smithing! It's a nice piece of art so smithing is not as easy as normal weapons. You will see the required materials for the sword is a finished blade, guard, handle and pummel. You will be forging every piece of the weapon. If you are stuck and a little confused how to proceed in the crafting process, there is a book that has a step by step guide and explanation of the crafting process. Look for the book "Making a Masterpiece" in the windhelm's blacksmith's house.
How to Start
In case you are just skimming through and missed what I said before. Go to the windhelm's Blacksmith house and find the book "Making a Masterpiece". It will guide you into getting the sword.
What's next?
I'm actually in the middle of a very ambitious project. A new player home in the rift, Emberstone Keep. Keep an eye out for my other project in the coming months.
As always please feel free to leave feedback in the comments and I will get to them if I can.
