Minotaurs are beastfolk native to Cyrodiil with a body of a man and head of a bull. They are highly aggressive and often attacking common folk in forests.
Once upon a time minotaurs were not the animals they now are. One of the earliest known minotaurs was Belharza who became emperor of Cyrodiil after his mother Empress Alessia died. His father was demigod Morihaus-Breath-Of-Kyne. Weird thing is Morihaus has been often described as a winged minotaur but sometimes, like his statue at Imperial city, shows him in human figure. 

According to legend deep in the Great Forest of Cyrodiil there is a hidden item of huge power.  It is an amulet shaped like a flying bird of kynareth. Two mighty minotaurs have been guarding the artifact for centuries. This magic item has the power to change its wearer to a minotaur lord.

Where can you find it?

Walk east from Greenwood Meadery and northeast from Ayleid ruin Anga. You will find a chest and a strongbox guarded by two minotaurs.

How to use it?

Simply equip the amulet. Your race will change to Minotaur Lord. Removing amulet returns original race of player. When you are Minotaur crimes committed will not increase your bounty. Being a minotaur also gives you 20% bonus on both one hand and two hand weapons. Armors can be used normally but they just don't show up on the custom model.

One handy trick with SkyUI is that you can quick key Belharza amulet on one outfit and some other amulet on another. Then you can change form with a quick key.

You can use any type of weapon but I would recommend Honed Silver Battle Axe from Immersive armors. It looks really nice and fits the style of a minotaur.

Minotaur Race

New Minotaur race has been created from Bruma Minotaur Lord mesh which is rigged to human skeleton.

If you want to play through the whole game as a minotaur do following.
Start a new game and create character to best suit your playstyle. After you have finished your character give these two console commands:
player.setrace playminotaurrace          (This makes you permanently a minotaur.)
player.setscale 0.8     ( This scales size down 20% to fit better in tighter places.)

All original points and perks will be preserved when changing race to minotaur. This will not give you 20% bonus on weapons.
