    if you do get a bounty she will get stuck on force dialogue with you with nothing new to say back to her. the only way to fix her is to punch a guard in Whiterun get a even larger bounty 1000+ then surrender. Is there a way to fix this issue in a much easier way?

      That bug is more than likely not caused by this mod. I did not put anything in this that would make Lydia react to the player getting a bounty.
      Since this sounded so implausible, I tested getting a bounty in game, and Lydia didn't react.

      yes sir.. nevermind. its more like a vanilla bug according to reddit.  Other reddit posts have similar results. Sorry for waisting your time.

    any plans on a full article guide on each thing that can trigger lydia morality system and how to restore the relationship? i feel like there is many thing that trigger it and sometimes its just so much complex its like interacting with real woman, for example if i were a vampire before ever meeting lydia what will happen? because sometimes i choose to became a vampire before even starting main quest. anyways its great update overall

    Hello,

    I would really like to have Lydia as my personal steward for Lakeview Manor but whenever I take her there, the text prompt doesn't show. I'm not sure if this is part of the mod, a bug or just something that has not been worked on yet, but I was hoping someone could help me with this or tell me if they're also facing this issue.

    Q: How do I romance Lydia?
    A: There's one dialogue option you have to pick right after you meet Paarthurnax in "The Throat of the World", and
    another after you find the Elder Scroll in "Elder Knowledge". You could
    alternatively do her personal quest if you miss that.

    Concerning Elder Knowledge, does this condition depend on acquiring the scroll and speaking with Lydia during that quest? My concern here is whether I would want to avoid acquiring the scroll as part of Dawnguard in order to hit this dialogue.

    I realize the banality of this question - I'm worried I might be missing an important character moment if it's significant enough to be a barrier to entry for them romantically.

      I think that line only requires you to be at the right stage of the main quest. So, as long as you get the scroll, she'll speak to you just like she would in the Tower of Mzark.

    She's not following me. Everytime I fast travel to any other placeshe just disapears. Any ideas why?

      Is she not following you at all or is she just not fast travelling with you?

    hey there. insane work!
    does she comment on non MQ stuff? I play with "In your shadow" and "Whiterun without mainquest" mods. I can look past the fact that I am named Thane without killing the dragon and she says I dealt with the dragon as first sentence. That is totally fine.
    But I wanted to know before I took her as a more permanent companion if she was going to comment on other stuff that isnt MQ and how much of it is it? She will fit morally since I am playing a Vigilant of Stendarr type of character.
    Like does she have general comments about general things in generalized terms? So I can see her personality without doing MQ stuff.

    hello, after upload from 3.6 to 4.0.4.
    lydia keeps approaching me and say' right behind you'
    any idea what happend? 
    is it strange of it happens on my 300 hours save but not 200 hours save.
    guess i can restart

      Are you doing the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, or Clan Volkihar quests?

      yes I do the starting of the theieves guild.
      i guess it becasue i both install some mod change thieves guild questline therefore this happens
       i will test it tonight

    Why does she get mad at me for joining the dark brotherhood when I didn't? I destroyed them. I love this mod but I'm just wondering.

      Just for reference for everyone else (and me when I go back to look for what bugs I need to fix), this user was running an old version of the mod when they reported this bug.

    I am enjoying the mod.
    I do have a question: Does using the I'm Talking Here mod prevent Lydia's voice from activating?
    She is strictly silent from the moment I greet her in Dragonsreach.
    I have played with your mod before and enjoyed it, but Lydia kept talking over the NPCs I was conversing with and I missed large portions of her new dialogue.

      Maybe, I haven't used "I'm talking here", but there's a non-zero chance it's another mod conflict.

    Thank you for creating this mod and for the work you have put in, im not the happiest about the moral objection system, as I have joined the two omitted factions every full play through ive ever done, and ive joined them with Lydia along my side. However, I like this mod, and I appreciate good work and im gonna reload my save and deal with the fact that I now have a quest marker that won't go away. 

    My gripe with it is that in my last playthrough I joined the dark brotherhood, and it served as a colorful and hidden past that was shared between my spouse and I. Something that was ours alone. Not all good times, not all bad, but it was authentic. 

    That being said, in my current playthrough I'm already not a huge fan of the idea of killing the chick at the wedding, as I am a devoted imperial, so I can overlook the idea of being a brotherhood member. Thieves guild, not as important to me as dark brotherhood, regretabble that I won't be becoming a nightingale this playthrough though.

    I may, in the future decide to leave Lydia at home and play through the factions with one of my other companions, but ill just have to see.

    **im on xbox so mcm doesn't help unless porters add a separate version. Plus, after writing this all im a bit excited to try a new style anyways

      id say it would be fairer to more apparently advertise that this mod will pose obstacles if you wish to join those factions or use Dedric weapons though.
