Finally had the time and mood to find a fix for the door bug in Solitude. The .esp replacer is uploaded as an update with the version number 1.42. Please report if it works! Furthermore, this weekend I will work on fixing the other reported bugs for Solitude and Whiterun... or at least trying to :) Enjoy!
Just a small message to thank TWarrior to keep this mod alive on SE, and thanks to every one of you using this mod and endorsing it! It's really appreciated, especially 7 years after Skyrim's initial release. I am so glad to have put hundreds of hours into this mod.

Very unlikely, sorry. Of the original team I was the one that stuck around the longest but my life has changed significantly since then. Started my PHD, my wife and me now have a baby as well and I am too busy to continue with Skyrim modding. Permissions are open though for the mod!

In the Whiterun overhaul, coming in through the main entrance the first market stand on the left, There are missing display stands/platform meshes. The soul gems that are resting on the missing meshes appear to be floating.
Oddly, this mod seems incompatible with all other whiterun mods, even the ones that don't edit the same areas (like Dark's Whiterun Market) which only effects the south on the outside of whiterun. I was left with a huge hole between the poverty district and the vanilla sector of whiterun (near Bannered Mare). It makes no sense to me lol.
This is an awesome mod idea but yeah, I'm having the same issue using Whiterun Market Outskirts and I'm getting a couple missing textures on some of the NPC dresses. I've tried moving it around in load order with the same result. Anyway, I appreciate the effort.
So... slight issue, possibly not quite connected to this mod, but enhanced by it. Guard Barracks in Whiterun have double textureschanging rapidly. Without this mod enabled issue is still present but seen from large distances only (trying to find what is the cause) but with mod installed and enabled it can be seen when standing as far as 2m from the wall. Ideas please? Everything else works fine (except for Chillfurrow farm windmill having same issue even in vanilla setup) and mod even meshes good enough with e.g. Dragon under Whiterun mini-quest mod.
There is a slight compatibility issue with Skyrim Sewers. When breaking out of the Solitude Jail, the player is supposed to exit via a manhole on a ledge behind Angeline's Aromatics, but because that area is now inaccessible, the player instead exits via a manhole in the street. Skyrim Sewers also uses that manhole as an entrance to the sewers, meaning the player can break out of jail, exit through the manhole, then re-enter into a completely different cell.
hey love the mod but for the love of god please make a solitude only version the addition to whiterun are awesome but the random holes on the wall around the lower district drive me nuts
I Just played the Legacy version of the mod and there's two things I can point out about him 1) Annoying voice and 2) his existence is lore/immersion breaking I mean Bethesda went through the trouble of answering the question of "why are there no hybrids?" by saying "kids inherit the race of the mother" not to mention he draws attention to the lack of hybrids and is wrong about his own race (well noticeable half race) when he talks about the breeding between men and elves (whom he calls mer) without knowing that orcs are also a type of elf/mer. Orsimer to be specific.. He is one of the two biggest problems with the Whiterun part of the mod (the other big problem is the noticeable Landscape break in the lower district where two types of floor meet and you can see "under the world" a problem that gets a bit worse if you exit from the lower district/look at it's gate from the outside where you'll see it's floating above the world) though I haven't tried this version so maybe you've fixed that
dang I came here to say this. The whiterun architecture is breathtaking, realistic, and immersive; and then we have russian NPCs, green chefs, and women named Monica....
I've only seen one other person mention this, but I am having the bug where Olava the Feeble's door is out of place. Can this be resolved with a cell reset?
Fixed it with console commands. If you run into the same issue, click the door and use setpos x 21919.54 setpos y -9557 setpos z -3513.9 setangle z 206.5
