Sorry to hear you have been in the hospital, hope all is well with you. Just posting this to note an issue with the last part of the dungeon quest, the guardians no longer act properly after being defeated now in the other realm. Only bethyn Stormbrood comes to the center and kneels to perform the end sequence, the other guardians just stand there, and Aeonbarr isnt summoned. Looks like it can't be completed legit also now can't get Aeonbarr at all due to this as it also is showing the quest option as checked and grayed out, so can't get Aeonbarr through the menu either, I really wanted to get the horse, but looks like I won't be able to. Thanks and again hope all is well with you and continues to be so. And even though I wasn't able to experience the horse itself, thanks for porting the mod over, the dungeon itself was fun to go through until the end.
Update: Was able to load earlier save and get the horse now, however, after riding for a bit, then dismounting and trying to get back on, now horse no longer has a prompt to mount and cannot mount back on horse, so will sadly have to say that as of right now I believe the mod overall needs some fixing as I do not have any other horse or other mods that would conflict. really was hoping this mod would work.
The part with the dungeon is a known thing , when you first go thru the door there, its best to make a save right there, and when fighting each npc , make sure if you can to defeat them near the center circle thing and they should auto go the positions and do the summoning , it may take a couple of tries , but eventual you win out ...
I'm an Aeonbarr enthusiast, but after doing some troubleshooting to get it and Simplest Horses to shake hands, it seems that the quest we do to get Aeonbarr, either in full or by using the skip method, doesn't "claim" the horse which allows us to use the features in Simplest Horses.
For those of you that like Aeonbarr and Simplest Horses, you can get the two to cooperate by doing the following in your console;
Click on Aeonbarr and enter the following line - addtofaction 68D78 4
This sets your horse into the PlayerHorseFaction at Rank 4. You do need the rank number in there. I don't know if it has to be 4.
Now the horse should respond to commands and inventory access while retaining any customization options. Again, this is a used-bandaids-and-bubblegum fix until a patch is released to get the two to cooperate, however so far it's proven to be both functional and stable.
Hey there. After loving that mod I decided to add Convenient Horses so my follower stop dropping their horses from AFT. The problem is there's no MCM on CH for SSE. So since I added CH I'm talking to the Aeonbarr instead of mounting him to choose to ride or make him follow me. Because of that and playing in survival mode I have to use another horse to go faster in freezing areas because I'm not talking to any other, directly mounting them. Any way to mount directly Aeonbarr bypassing CH? :/ Is there a MCM mod for it hidden somewhere on nexus? Also if I change Aeonbarr name I can't interract with him :/
I think I will use this mod, because it fits well with Convenient Horses, that is another mod I'd like to use. Some questions however: 1. What does it happen to the goods I stored in the horse inventory when I banish the horse? I'm asking because there are some summonable chests that retain everything it is put inside before banishing them. 2. a summonable horse is fantastic if you're alone. If you're not - with followers - it is a problem for the followers to... follow... if they have not a horse for them. It is possible to imagine a version in which some more horses are summoned for the followers when I summon my horse? 3. May I summon the horse if I surfaced onto the other side of a hill after a dungeon also if I left the horse unbanished on the other side of the hill? In simple words may I summon again the horse a second time - as a sort of "fast travel" for the hose ? Thank you for the answer and compliments for your high skills in modding.
Try shifting this mod down below nearly everything near the bottom, Or try adding another eye glow then have a look see it shows, then go back to the one you chose before see if its back ?
Nope, I tried to put in the end of the list, disabled convenient horses, restarted the game, check if I had Immersive Horses or any other mod that affects horses but nothing came to mind and nothing worked.
It's not a huge problem for me thankfully but It's sad to have the option. Thanks for your input btw.
