    Have you come to this fine comments section because the dome light is flickering????? Have you perhaps been WEEPING in this comment section with me and everyone else while this mod displays no conflicts in xEdit or with meshes????? Is it consuming... YOUR VERY LIIIIIIIIIFE??????

    Have you perhaps installed... Legacy of the Dragonborn - Fixes and Tweaks???

    Was it the "NO LIGHTS" VERSION???

    If you answered YES to the first question, but NO to the second, then BY TALOS, there's your ANSWER. Install the no lights version and have it load after both this mod and any other LOTD lighting mod (like the one wSkeever made). You're DONE!!!

    Flickers on and off depending on where I'm standing. Only other lighting mod I have for the museum is the one you made. Any idea what's causing the issue? Maybe the light limit?

      Don't know. Doesn't happen to me. Maybe don't use torch or lantern

      No torches, no lanterns. My current guess is that the mesh (of the museum) has flickering issues. Especially with the number of people in the comments with the same issue. Or maybe some display that I'm not thinking of adds light sources??

      I don't think any displays adds any lights. My museum is pretty filled up and I don't get this.

      Okay, I'm back. I got distracted (thanks ADHD) but anyways this mod doesn't conflict with literally anything in my load order lol. And the only mesh it conflicts with is the one in your improved dome mod. I guess I'll flip this mod to override its mesh even though I assume it's the same mesh.

      Make sure only one light comes through the dome at a time. This mod adds different light directions. If your script engine is broken some how, it might not be turning them off properly.

      it never looks like more than one light is coming through at a time thankfully. just the same light flickering on and off if I move around.

      Edit: also it is getting late where I am so I probably won't be able to respond anymore tonight, sorry

      Just wanted to let you know that I think I figured out the issue. I was standing under a different light (some chandelier) and when I looked down, the light effect disappeared. The center of the dome is mainly where the issue occurs for me, so I think it's literally just vanilla LOD being bad. I haven't run DynDOLOD yet (not going to until I've finalized my load order) but I understand it can fix things vanishing when on the edge of your vision?

    Doesn't seem to work at all for me. I have a bunch of lighting mods working together and I've tried fiddling with the load order, disabling them, and nothing.

      Yeah sorry about that. I've been investigating a bit more and I've found out that I have the same problem a couple of people reported in this forum. It "works", but only when I'm standing in a very specific place. The only way for it to stay on when I move is with the TCL or TFC commands. I'm using ELFX and ELE together but I disabled the LotD ELE patch just in case (although I think it doesn't work for V5 anyway).

      people nowadays used LUX, next gen lighting with enb support...elfx, elfx shadows modders are busy with their life

      check the pluyings, at first i though the same but then i realized the plugin was disabled, once it was enabled the sun glows... but only in the main hall the rest of the museum is still dark as a falmer cave

    Having a bizarre issue where the lighting only activates in a specific spot in the upper hall. Otherwise it doesn't show up. Using Ambient Light ELFX + Shadows, but the shadows part doesn't touch the museum and other people here have said they have no difficulty using ELFX + ENBs with this, so I've got no clue what the problem is. Was getting a CTD before disabling the dome again though. Only the one, strangely.

    EDIT: Upon further experimentation, there are one or two places I can get far away enough that the light turns on, but it doesn't stay on unless I use tcl to turn off collision. And only if I turn it off in one of those spots. Gonna try a few things.

    EDIT 2: Yeah, I have no meaningful way to fix this. It almost seems like the activation trigger's position got skewed or something? Any ideas?

    EDIT 3: Does anyone know what the object bounds on the light trigger should look like? That way I can compare and maybe edit them, if need be.

      Sounds like flickering. The engine can only handle so many light sources before it has to sacrifice other light sources. Can't tell you why it happens but it does, and it happens especially when you start mixing lighting mods. Even in the vanilla game pulling out a torch causes some lights to flicker.

      mine was when I was on a specific angle on the first floor, found that making the mod load alot earlier on the list helped me out

      I am just assuming here but on wankingSkevers LOTD lighting mod he himself commented that the Lux LOTD patch shouldnt be used together with his mod; so i would assume that this applies to this mod as well and that it is up to personal preference as to which shadows and lights you like better

    This is really nice! would love to see the concept in the other parts of the museum. It fits really well with window shadows lighting mod.
