Been using Skyland for a while now but never put this on, mainly coz my rig is old and thought it would give it a heart attack. But as usuall I got carried away, got community shaders, their sky and cloud add-on + your complex materials and the dynamic patcher, and Ye Gods it makes everything look fantastic, even though it gives me some FPS drops it still plays beautifully and smooth. Tis magic I tell thee! Thank you all.
I like how this mod looks but the snow in my game looks really odd. From whiterun to helgen the snow is glowing as if its emitting light. Is there a setting I can change to fix this? I don't use an ENB or any other mods affecting snow or lighting.
There are 2 "causes" 1- Skyland snow is very white, which in clear weathers is kind of glaring. (This is effect is even stronger in skyking snowburst). I think this is intended, after all real snow tends to blind a little in sunny days. 2- Bloom. Skyrim has an issue with bloom, in vanilla, is less noticeable, but some for some mods it becomes an issue. Many people just "disable" bloom so this is less of an issue
Now, you can do the following: 1- Try to check in a cloudy weather, or rainy weather. If it looks fine (white, but not glowing), then probably you just don't like the snow on sunny weathers. If it's still glaring, then you are fighting against bloom 2- Disable bloom (via step) Try adding these lines to Skyrim.ini, in the [Display] section. fGlobalBloomThresholdBoost=100.00 You can also do this using a tool like bethinipie, the setting is in bloomboost
If you disable bloom, and still don't like the snow, you can just replace the snow for another that suits your tastes better. I'd recommend a less white snow if so, like nordic, or vivid complex snow
Realise you probably get lots of comments on your many mods but my third sentence wrote "I don't use an ENB or any other mods affecting snow or lighting. "
Which grass mod do you think matches your landscape LODs best as of now? I'm using QW Patch 2, and while it doesn't look bad, since the tundra grass has green/brown mix it doesn't blend as much as I would like.
noooooooo. As the title infers, it's Skyland - A Landscape Texture Overhaul. You think parallax would have already gotten over a million downloads in a day? I wish.
I am having a strange issue. I did not realize that this mod included blended roads, and have been using both mods. I realized that my roads were lacking the 3D look, and discovered that I did not have to have blended roads installed. I uninstalled blended roads, and the roads look much better, but I am crashing within minutes of entering the game. If I reinstall blended roads, there is no more crashing, but I really want the roads to look like they're supposed to with this mod. I would really really appreciate some help with this please!
I have 1K textures installed and there is something wrong with fallforest ones... They are good near the road but get deformed away up to Riften stables Is there any way to fix this issue?
You've got parallax enabled in your enbseries.ini file. You can open that text file and turn all the lines that have "complex' in them to false, OR you can add the Skyland Landscapes parallax mod and place below Skyland AIO. Your choice.
I do not like how enb mods are released with parallax auto enabled for this reason.
Would you mind being more specific? The description of Skyland Landscapes parallax mod states the following: Setting Up The ENB Use these settings in ENBSeries.ini
Any mod on nexus is going to be better quality than vanilla. If you wanna know if it looks similar to vanilla or is vanilla friendly, that's more of a taste thing. I made Skyland to be vanilla friendly. Obviously the pictures show the quality is better.

I've been using it for years.
Thank you all.

Work on the ENB settings if you have one and if you have a snow mod like Better Dynamic Snow, make sure you use the vanilla option.
Skyland Landscapes Parallax will drop soonish.
I went ahead and added a link to the description page now.

The description of Skyland Landscapes parallax mod states the following:

My ENBSeries.ini settings are:
