Hi, I zoomed into the new ring and I noticed an inscription written on it. Is there a translation for what it says? I've chosen the silver version w/ sapphire if that matters. The rings look gorgeous, by the way.
I understand it's probably not possible since the in-game item is just one object given to two people, but for those of us who play gay characters in Skyrim, is there any way to give each spouse a different half of the 'heart'? It would be especially nice for follower spouses to be able to see them wearing the ring as well as the player!
As you said, it's a single ring that is added to the player and spouse during the wedding quest. The different appearance is done by adding different models for the male/female version of it. To have two separate rings for each gender you'll need a 2nd ring with and change the models, or remove the female models from the current ring and use them for the 2nd ring. (if the female model path is empty the male model is displayed) Since there was no good way to implement that, without editing the wedding quest scripts, I choose to implement it this way.
I really like this mod it makes an otherwise boring looking item great. I am having a slight issue with getting it to show up properly when using Left Hand Rings Modified SE though,I can equip either a left hand ring or this normally and when I edit the bonds slot to 50 like in LHRMSE and equip a left hand ring and the bond neither of the rings show up on my hand at all. It's not the end of the world though cause half the time I'll be wearing gloves anyway
Thanks. Done that because for me it was more important to have compatibility between my mods (Skyring) than with other mods. For me, it sounds like you only did change the Slot in CK or TESEdit, and did not change it in the nif file. In case you don't know how to accomplish that: Open up the nif with nifskope. There you find the 'NiTriShape' drop that down and you'll find the 'BsDismemberSkinInstance', click on it and find the 'Partitions' in the "Block details" drop that down again until you see 'BSDismemberBodyPartType' Which should be 'SBP_51_DECAPITATE' change this to 50 and repeat that process for all NiTriShapes in the nif file. Hope that helps.
Ah I figured I had forgotten to do something to make it work properly, thank you very much for the timely help. Now i get to show of my many rings to the rest of skyrim properly
I downloaded the main file and the optional esl; however, it's still counting a plugin. Are we supposed to disable the esp and only run the esl?
EDIT: Also, Vortex gives the option to mark the esp's as lite. Is this safe? If so, I could mark all esp's as lite and delete the optional esl plugins.
Not an issue. You can also mark it in Vortex as lite, which is basically the same as using the ESL file. Just make sure to only use one file (ESP or ESL)
I just downloaded all your jewelry. Many of your mods have conflicts with each other. Does it matter which overwrites which in Vortex? Or, are they just shared assets that don't matter which order?
Don't worry, many of my mods share the same textures/normal maps/cube maps... doesn't matter what you overwrite. Done that to reduce HDD space and reduce the impact on the GPU RAM. This mod (Bond of Matrimony) has its own texture path to make it customizable, maps are still shared though.

Not really a big issue obviously, but mentioning in case someone else is getting the same problem.

I'm confused as to why my bashed patch refuses to forward the changes. I have to edit it manually which is annoying but whatever.

Thanks in advance!
