Quaint Nest is northwest of Riften and just north of Redwater Den/the abandoned house.
inside:
-fully navmeshed for followers
-another extra key in case you need it (doesn't respawn) on the endtable spouse's side.
-many various containers for safe storage(they should *all* be safe and are set to not respawn, whether or not they have stuff in them to begin with)
-enchanting, alchemy, cooking, armor workbench, anvil, and grindstone
-a good number of weapon plaques, four shield displays, two dagger displays, and a couple weapon rack display cases (for some reason staff doesn't like the plaques so only the large display cases can be used for staff, as they are only ones that work; unfortunately seems to be same across all the housemods I've been working on)
-double bed for you and spouse (need a follower mod of some kind/AFT or MHiYH or something), a vampire coffin just for you if you want
-two follower beds (need follower mod)
-various ingredients and items, some respawning and some not for le immersion
-two bookshelves
-an area you should be able to keep a thrall or 'cattle' in somehow if you have say, Better Vampires, I set the door to not be used in sandbox so hopefully they'll just stay in there and... stand there like they're hypnotized, lol. Immersion?
-a shrine to Nocturnal
-a fair amount of idles for followers
-a thrall journal, a draft of a letter, and a very VERY long vampire journal(literally 31 in-game pages!!! ) for le immersion and stuff. (I just kind of had an idea and went with it.No, Senril is *not* a 'good' vampire. He's just not like that you-know-who-glorified-bat and actually appreciates a measure of cleanliness) **there are 'spoilers' of a sort for the Dawnguard quest so if you don't want to know, maybe start it/'make the choice' first and then find the house--but if you are a vampire hunter, I'm not sure Fang will like you... maybe he will, maybe he won't) **vampire journal does give bit of Speechcraft skill**
outside:
-the key to the door is on the ground, right in front of the red mountain flowers by the steps-
-tanning rack
-grain mill thing
-woodcutting
-small pond with a couple of fish
-'stable' area for le horse
-north... eastish? on the hill at the 'mountain/cliff' edge behind the house, there's moonstone ore you can mine.
-a whole lot of crops. I mean, for a Skyrim sized farm, anyway. It has more than most vanilla farms, I'd say.
-pretty scenery, great views
-a bunch of idles for followers
-a 'hidden' ... nook? Overhang? Where there is skeleton of a vigilant (screenshot in Images). The apothecary's satchel is NOT safe storage! And does respawn random ingredients, I believe.
-a couple dragon landing spots just in case, for immersion
-four chickens and a goat, they shouldn't die or anything/should be safe
-Fang, a wandering deathhound from the previous owner. Couldn't get him to be a follower despite following some guides and whatnot so he's just... friendly-ish and doesn't attack you. He is essential though, so... don't attack him? If he's around and enemies followed you, he might help you fight, though. Since you're technically his 'ally'. Well. Not so sure if you're a vampire hunter, but otherwise pretty certain. :P
there are no hearthfire planters or beds for kids, no mannequins, smelter, staff enchanter, spider-making machine, no crafting oven.
