Hey there, I'm using you're other patch for Gavrostead-Granite Hill and Man those borders (thanks!) and it's working just fine even though I'm using the original mod and not the reborn version. For some reason this patch is not working for me. Any possibility you could make a version of this for the original mod, or make this one work for both?
I'm not able to look myself in a reasonable amount of time so maybe you can help. What are the differences between the two Man Those Borders in that general area? I guess I should ask why would you choose the 'less' up to date version? Reborn was updated 2 and a half years after the prior version.
Hey there, no worries if there's not anything you can do, I understand. I've ended up disabling Thanedom of Northkeep to make things work, and after thinking about it it was kind of redundant having it there now that I have the town of Northkeep that was added with Frontier Fortress (I didn't have TES Arena before trying this patch). Although I admit I still like how Thanedom of Northkeep looked better than the Man Those Borders version, but I can live without it lol.
Not sure what you mean by the differences? As far as I know the Northern Falkreath Border gate is the same on both versions, no? All I can tell you is, with this patch installed along with Thanedom, TES Arena, and Man Those Borders (original), nothing at all happens. Both gates are there, still smack up against each other. I figured since your other patch for the reborn version worked for me, that this one would too, but alas.
As for why I'm not using the Reborn version, it's because I like the locations in the original that were removed. I know it's probably not the smartest idea as those locations were likely removed due to causing issues or bugs or something, but I'll cross that bridge when the time comes I suppose, anyways thanks for the reply!
The only thing I can figure is that the form IDs are different. If it isn't doing anything then you should be sure to return a save from before you tried it. It will leave behind errors for a certainty. Give me a bit and I'll take a look at a patch. The problem is getting permission from the Mod Author. I actually requested permission already many months ago but never got a reply.
Yeah I know nothing about form ID's or anything lol. I'm pretty new to using mods but when I install a mod or several at a time, I generally go to each location, run around a bit and check things out or just piss around for a while to see if anything arises after a bit of playing. If all seems well I go back to the save before I began installing the new batch of mods, hopefully I don't get any errors left behind.
Sounds like this may be a dead end anyways if you never got a reply from the Mod Author and it's been months now...fingers crossed I guess. Anyhow, thanks again!
Awesome, thanks so much! And yeah Axis's mods are pretty cool. I'm using his Thandedom of Karthwasten and Nightgate mods and the Hamlets of the Pale one as well. Karthwasten in particular is exceptionally awesome, imo.
Actually IIRC it was just a navmesh issue but since without the patch the edges aren't properly finalized the possibility of issues, up to and possibly including CTD, arise.
They're not right on top of each other BTW if that's at all what your hinting at. There's probably 2+ cells between them.
