MOD INFO

The Immersive Animal Loot makes a very simple, yet very much-needed change to the game's animal loot drop tables to bring immersion and realism to the game. The mod comes in 2 versions:

The standard version of the mod removes the money (aka gold coins / Septim coins) and jewelry (such as rings and necklaces) from the loot tables of both wild and domestic animals such as Wolves, Bears, Cows, Deers, Dogs, Elks, Spiders, Goats, Horkers, Mammoth, Sabre Cats, Hoses, Skeevers, Slaughterfishes, Trolls, Chauruses, Deathhounds, Netches, Ashhoppers, Werewolves and Werebears, making wildlife hunting feel more realistic, like how it should have been.

When you go hunt and kill wildlife, you will no longer find money and jewelry in the corpses of the animals. Instead, if you want still make some money out of your hunting trips, you will have to loot the animal meat, hides, body parts and such things and sell them to vendors for profit.

Boars are the only animal that has not been touched upon by my mod, as they are meant by the game's Developers to drop money (small chance) and jewelry. Sorry for that. Anything (i.e. humanoids such as Bandits, Vampires, Giants, etc) is left untouched too for obvious reasons.

The alternate version of the mod, however, does not touch Wolves, Bears, Sabre Cats, Slaughterfishes, Werewolves and Werebears, upon popular demand, because according to some users of the mod, these wild animals are known for eating humans, and thus, any coins/jewelry they were carrying with them, often ends up into their stomach.

NOTE: You can use only one version at a time!

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

1. Why is this mod called Immersive Animal Loot?
I have tried to name my mod "Realistic Animal Loot", but there was already a mod by that name in original Skyrim (Realistic Wildlife Loot And Recipes at Skyrim Nexus) and I wouldn't want to risk any potential confusion between the two mods.

2. Would you like to expand this mod / make suggested changes?
I have designed this mod primarily for my own needs and I do not intend to accept requests as I am not interested in expanding/maintaining the mod. However, I thought - why not share it with you as well? So I uploaded it. But it is a "take it as is or ignore it" offer, nothing more.

3. Are there any mods that make the gold coins look as beautiful as in your mod's pictures?
Yes, there are several mods out there that improve the look of the gold coins in the game. Personally, I am using this one here: JS Purses and Septims SE

Enjoy!
