    Hey guys,
    Some time ago i created a fix for the Bright Sabers and it helped many of you. Since its a long time ago i decided to create a video on how to fix the bright sabers and disable the random sabers spawn.

      I did this and most of the lightsabers are just invisible. Not all but most of them

    Ok, I finally got a fix without any invisibility issues. I use Vortex, but I'm sure other mod managers have similar methods of doing this same thing.

    On vortex, I downloaded both v4 and v2. Let v4 completely overwrite v2 when Vortex shows the red conflict lightning bolt. Then, when it turns green click the now green lightning bolt and click where it says "380 conflicting file." Scroll all the way down on that list of files and click "edit individual files."

    From there, all the folders should be expanded (just collapse all the other folders except "meshes" for organizations sake). 

    Keep everything as is, using v4 files, EXCEPT the "nif" files beginning with "ench." For the "enchmagicka(sabertype)(color)" nifs, select v2. Those files are the meshes for the actual saber parts themselves, which are enchantment visuals that go onto the hilts (hence some of us also having invisible sabers) and I guess v4 meshes have that powerful light to them as part of the entire mesh. 

    Save, deploy, and we're all good. I tried doing the manual v2 swap and it didn't work, and neither did playing with SSEEdit. Simply picking the files to overwrite with Vortex did the trick with no problems at all. Hopefully a similar method is possible with other mod managers, I wouldn't know unfortunately since I don't use them.

    Can I request the lightsaber pikes use the spear weapon type from Spear of Skyrim, instead of greatsword? I've tried doing this in SSEdit but the two esps don't seem to recognize each other. 
    I figured it out - I use the Soldier Spear Animation set, and added the pikes' FormIDs to the conditional files.

      do you have a video or links to learn what you did? 
      I just can't figure out how to make each type of lightsaber have there own animations instead of 1 hand sword animations.

      I don't have the mod installed any more, so I can't verify, but I believe you'll find the conditions files in the animation sets your looking for, or in the animation replacer folders. I had to use SSSEdit to look up the FormIDs of the pikes, and i just put those in as additional lines in the alread-existing conditions files

    How would I go about turning the volume down for the ignite effect? Or any of the sound effects to be honest? Those sabers be loud af.

    Is there a way to make the saber invis when equipped, it looks really wierd sticking out of my shoulder or hip

    Somewhat unique-to-the-others issue i have, if anyone can help:

    Everything is perfectly fine until third person. I play predominantly third person now because of my mods and it's just nicer for me - but equip a saber and all i can see is the centre of the sun, and my character well she's the sun. Saber looks gorgeous but the glow lights me up like sun surface plasma and then blacks the rest of everything, i can't see past my character's purple turned white hot ass. 

    I use an ENB, and i do have the 4 mods that make ingredients and bugs in jars glow and stuff for enb. it's only the sabers that do it and only in third person. Edit to add modlist:  https://modwat.ch/u/Colinm227

    If you follow the video tutorial to reduce the brightness you will lose the uniques as they are not included in the older file.Additionally if you use XP32 (at 4.7 million d/l's that is probably most of us) this mod should be above or lower in priority than XP32or better yet just delete the skeleton nifs as nothing should overwrite XP32.

      Big updoot for this one, i've had a lot of physics f-ups that have boiled down to loot sticking this thing somewhere after xmpse and it being the thing that fixes tiddies when i move it back.

    Has anyone found a patch or even a manual way to make it so that maybe just the bosses on dungeons and more powerful enemies are the guys holding these? Going through bleak falls barrow kinda feels like slaughtering a temple full of younglings. They literally all have sabers and i have 75k gold worth of weapons before i've reached my first word wall. The leveled list is appreciated, but they feel far to commonplace for such a powerful item.

    tried all below methods for making sabers appear but not working for me

    i hear sounds, can equip but no light, sword invisible. tried the whole v2, v4 thing

    version 2.0 by itself also doesnt work for me either.. no clue how to fix. (its the mesh part not showing, have sounds and weapons)

    im on mo2 also. 

    oh and im using additem menu to test so not even getting them through crafting to check. 
    all my .esp work with testing like this method (except this mod so far)

    EDIT: figured it out, so i thought it was Allgud mesh gen but still wasn't. 
    what it was is, even additem mod doesnt work. you still have to get hilt, unenchant enchanted sabers and use hilt and enchant... (thought i could skip the process completely but looks like it cant do that "cheat") 
    still awesome mod though ;p .... ty


    EDIT #2: so idk why but the daedra double edge sabers dont work for me.  i pick them from killing bandits from leveled lists, it shows when they use it but on me it don't.  above works for unenhanted ONLY for me, if i enchant them it works but the full ones don't work for me as i can't unenchant those to re-enchant.  

    anyone have this issue or know a fix?

    I'm not able to get this mod to work with Skyrim SE on the Gamepass app for PC. I've tried adding it to the data folder, the mods folder, and even the folder that opens up when I click "Open mod folder" From the Gamepass app. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?

      Sorry for the late reply.

      "Skyrim SE on the Gamepass app for PC" is the main problem, games from the windows store are super locked down in your pc and are incredibly difficult to mod due to this. Your best best for modding the windows version is to just stick with what is the in game mod loader.
