Greetings,

This mod adds a palace called 'Throne of the Jeralls' to your game, which you can use as a player home. I've always been green with envy of Jarl Ulfric's fancy, ancient palace, and wanted to create one of my own using those assets.

Location: In the south of Skyrim, already marked on your map. Go to Helgen and take the path to the south and west. You'll reach a fort named Bloodlet Throne. Look for a snowy slope beyond it, and go up. Follow this path and you'll find the palace.

Acquisition: If you are so inclined, you can decide to pay for the palace (for immersion reasons). Go to Gray Pine Goods in Falkreath, and buy the deed from the proprietor (section: 'books'). Within, you'll find instructions how to get there and what to do. If you prefer to get it for free, just walk over to the palace, murder the elf who stands at the entrance, and loot him for the key.

Features:
-A medium/big palace
-Lots of beds for your followers/servants/family/in that order :P
-Full array of vanilla crafting equipment
-Your own personal sauna
-Great views
-Attention to detail

Obviously, all storage in and around the property is safe.
If you wish to move your family here, I recommend using the Custom Family Home mod by Witchriser. It's what I use, pretty handy.

Update:
The trees at the entrance were floating above the ground, that has now been fixed. New file available for download at the files page.

Update #2:
(17/07/2020) - After a long break, I decided to give the interior a bit of a facelift. No worries, all your items are safe- one chest (master bedroom) has been moved a couple of inches, but the stuff you might have stored is safe.

Update #3:
(25/07/2023) - Wow, it's been a while. A couple of months ago I updated the interior, just for myself, but I'm pretty pleased with the result. Stopped playing Skyrim for a while and forgot to upload the new file. Sorry 'bout that.
Anyway, there's better lighting throughout the castle, both at night and during the daytime. Also added some stuff to make the place look more homey without sacrificing the ancient atmosphere. It's not a huge overhaul or anything, but it does look much more like the way I imagined it could. The basement is unchanged, to be frank, I hardly ever use it.
Oh, and no objects have been deleted, so you can safely overwrite your previous version without losing any of your shinies.

Enjoy :)
