    This is the best mod ive ever encountered for a while , thank you
    only problem that i see , npcs getting spid items in their inventory but they dont wear it ...

    Fix is the Distribute outfits instead of items, if someone knows how to , that would be appreciated.

      I have the same question, Im in the early phases of testing this out with the hopes I could clothe npcs to my liking for first encounter (many followers) - - - its in the inventory but they do not wear it until asked to follow

      Edit - NM, I Figured It Out with the Armor to Outfit Script & Some Study on the SPID Main Page!!!!!
      Thank you for all this !!

    If I have for example Vtaw pack, then how should I edit INI file so that it would give NPC random items from list instead of all of them? Is it even possible?

    Everything I've tried seems to work, except for outfits. Says there's an error on line 201 expected '(' got ';'. Outfits work when I type a script manually, so I don't think it's user-error.

    Is it possible to use this to distribute race menu preset on npcs?

    Not sure what happened, it didn't create a DISTR ini for me and now my game is crashing for some reason whenever I try to talk to Eris (the mod I tried out). I used mo2 and nothing went to my overwrite or xedit cache.

    First try: Fired up SSEDIT. I wasn't sure how to use at first so I clicked on a mod (ex: zEris) and applied script then picked the SPID distr script. Then it showed a bunch of code below that continues (not gonna add all of it)
    {
      Export spells, perks, items, shouts and leveled items-spells for Spell Perk Item Distributor
    }
    unit ExportSPI;
    var
      slExport: TStringList;
      kname: string;
      actor: string;
      filterid: string;
      minmax: string;
      gender: string;
      itemno: string;
      chance: string;                      (it continues on.....)

    After pressing ok, a custom keyword prompt showed up so I typed Eris (cuz i wanted to add eris) but pressed "cancel" on all the other prompts it came out with just to see what DISTR.ini file it would put out.

    SSEDIT then prompts with the following:
    [01:07] Done: Applying script " SPI Distributor Script", Processed Records: 1, Elapsed Time: 01:07

    And I cant find the DISTR. Should I be worried I screwed up some sort of script in SSEDIT or script in my game? How can I revert the changes?

    Help a newbie out pls T.T

    Question. Where the hell is SSEEdit?

    Edit: Alright I already answered my question by myself it seems I am an idiot as SSEEdit was a thing I needed to install

    Dude, thanks!

    I don't know if you come back to check on these posts, or your endorsements, but thanks for putting this up - I started writing something similar then decided to see if it already existed - and of course it does!

    Please disregard the non-technical people complaints, they're just frustrated, they thought it would "just work"... they don't know Pascal from Python from Perl from Pashto. But they can follow examples, or copy-and-paste then edit for their own uses.

    If you ever do come back and re-edit it? A block of "Examples:" would not go amiss, and will cut down on those not understanding basics, like "doesn't work" and "I miss chance percentage" and "I have no idea what a string is" -- hmm, maybe examples won't help him that much, but many would appreciate it.

    Again, thanks for sharing. It's clear you wrote it for yourself, and shared it to only to help others - the best motivation possible.

    Now to see if there's an AutoBody integration .pas xEdit script already out here... hey, you didn't by chance write that already too, did you?  🤓
