About this mod

looking for the full set armor bonus, but your character is just too pretty to wear helmets? this mod is my solution, since i haven't found another mod for special edition that does exactly what i needed.

thanks a lot to abi for their original Helmetless Warrior mod from the steam workshop, which this mod builds off of

hey everyone! if you're like me, making a cute character is SUPER important - and i know it is to a lot of other people. there were a lot of mods for skyrim 32bit that made helmets invisible, like Skyjubs Invisible Helmets but it replaced every helmet in the game, meaning nobody would wear a helmet. the steam workshop exclusive Helmetless Warrior did exactly what i needed - it made craftable, invisible helmets that would function the exact same as the normal ones. this was incredible, but there were no alternatives for any unique helmets, such as the ones for the main factions. so i opened up creation kit and made this! this is my no-show helmets, which add invisible helmets for most helmets that you would ever need.

all no-show helmets are identical to their visible counterparts when it comes to stats, enchantments, etc etc

featuring:
hide helmet
scaled helmet
wolf helmet
daedric helmet
dragonplate helmet
dragonscale helmet
dwarven helmet
ebony helmet
glass helmet
elven helmet
iron helmet
steel plate helmet
orcish helmet
steel helmet
leather helmet
stalhrim heavy helmet
stalhrim light helmet
blades helmet
shrouded cowl
shrouded hood
ancient shrouded cowl
dawnguard full helmet
dawnguard helmet
thieves guild hood (no improved version, but who trades in their hood anyways?)
guild master's hood
jester's hat
cicero's hat
nightingale hood
hat :)

how to obtain?
all the helmets that are naturally craftable are craftable at the same time as the normal versions. they are classified by the game as circlets, but function as helmets. all no-show helmets are named "__________ (Invisible)", with the original helmet's name.

any helmet that is not naturally craftable does not have a way to obtain ingame - simply use AddItemMenu or open the console and type help "(Invisible)" to get a list of all invisible helmets, using page up and page down to scroll. then use the command player.additem X 1 to add it, where X is the eight-character ID of the invisible helmet. but you probably already know how to do that, and don't need me to tell you, right?

installation is easy, it's just one .esp file. goes into data, just use a mod manager like i know you already do.

uninstallation is safe, no scrips or any of that goodness.

yeah but like.. why?
well. i know there exist mods that give you the full set armor bonus with three pieces of armor instead of four but that was really bleh to me. so i had my friend isaac download skyrim 32bit for me so he could get the original helmetless warrior off the steam workshop, then i took it and added more helmets to it. it took like no time at all, but this is such a great quality of life mod for me and i hope it becomes one for you, too!
