Its so un-immersive I could imagine rolling at 3am from the Winking Skeever with a few new 'friends' and Elisif after a few meads. There would be a very sorry housecarl unable to sit down for a week.
It stays unmade like in real life XDXDXD.... All serious I cant afford to have a script running every time you enter a cell just to check for the time of the day and replacing the meshes, too much stutter you know. And many have said Jarl quarters have maids to make the bed but It aint worth my time to go through all the jarl quarters interior cells one by one replacing the beds.
How difficult would it be to have the bed revert to being made up once you've left and reentered the cell? So, sleep/wake event, messy bed. Leave the house/inn/whatever, come back, bed is restored. Sure it'd be like having house elves if you left and came right back and, presto, the bed is remade, but most people will go and not return for a bit which would make that minuscule weirdness completely acceptable.
Late for the party but it could maybe use the same scripts as JS Rumpled Rugs? Every rug becomes instantly messy once installed and has the option to fix them one by one, with some time and steps on it it can be get messy again. Maybe do that exact same thing for this mod but every time you sleep on a bed it gets messy? And then give the option to fix it?
It would be awesome to add text allowing you to make your bed when you click it. When you use a made bed its messy when you wake up, maybe add a slight buff if you sleep in a made bed.
Is there any way this mod would work with double beds for spooning? I have both and currently all of the single beds show up with the noble beds appearance (rumpled covers, etc) and the double beds are vanilla looking aside from being able to spoon on them. I would love love love to be able to have the appearance of noble beds with the ability to spoon on them! Is that possible? Is it a load order thing? Or just a pipe dream?
I think this is incompatible with GoToBed. Whenever trying to use this bed in The Winking Skeever (only place I've tried it) my character just stands there, never actually lying down and I become stuck.
Although the beds looking more realistic with this mod, its not immersive/realistic for the Skyrim - a frozen province.
Why? Because, if you lived or living in cold countries (I'm not, but as boy-scout I was all weekends on high mountains), the folks are making the bed PERFECTLY (the blankets & sheets) because with that way THEY KEEPING THE WARM inside the bed.
If you leave the sheets/blankets like this (as in the pics), you'll have a super cold bed when you go to sleep.
Body heat is what keeps the bed warm, not blankets. It might help to put the covers back if you get up in the night, but over the course of a day it makes no difference. However, a nice goose down duvet, makes all the difference in the world. I live in Alberta Canada.
it's even worse, a too properly made bed means that the blanket will have a /-\ shape, so it let air circulates cuz it creates holes: your body is not wrapped into the blanked, the shape is tightened by the sides of the bed.

Just a friendly comment, that's all.
