LE BACKPORT IS DONE. SMEAGOL IS FREE. As mentioned in the file details, I will be offering only limited support for this version and that's why it didn't feel right making a whole new mod page for it, though I may still do so if there's enough support for one. Also, the regular (non-100 weight) options now come with the added benefit of not requiring an esp! Enjoy~
First off, thanks to everyone who's downloaded and endorsed! Makes a little baby modder like me feel the warm fuzzies~
Current Plans: LE port is coming along, will feel confident enough to publish as soon as I can optimize normal maps without utterly annihilating the quality.
Future Plans: Clean up textures a bit more (eyes might be remade from scratch), and minor mesh adjustments. Maybe add weight options now I'm less of a noob with Nifskope.
For some reason the mod wont overwrite and make Mri's facegen or parts anymore. Her body works fine. Nothing is overwriting either of them.
Is there anything I can check for in sse edit?
So apparently the BA Kjahiit Speak Redux mrissi patch ghost-overwrites your ESP for the headparts and weight. So I added it with your mod as a master in SSE Edit and put your hairpart and weight into the BA_KSR Mrissi patch.
Works now. It seems you have to do this with other mods as well, like Fluffy M'rissi mod for example, I had to do this too.
Blackface on a new save usually means that something is overwriting her appearance, try to have this mod is loaded last and make sure there's nothing secretly overwriting the esp in your load order. You can look at the pinned comment right above to learn how to fix it with xEdit.
M'rissi uses custom body meshes so you'd probably need a patch for her to use the BHUNP body (I don't use BHUNP but I found this after a quick search). After that you can just the install the UNP texture option.
no, I don't know how to use xEdit. But apparently the blackface bug only happen in my current save because when I start a new one her face changed as intended. how odd...
I have khajiit tail remover for khajiit. However, it does not work on this mod. Is there a way to remove her tail? Possibly through Xedit? I really appreciate your work and thanks!
Do you know if have anything overwriting this mod? If not, try reinstalling and loading the plugin further down on your load order to see if that fixes it.
I just get the black face/ body bug with her here. Even with Renewed loading last and the Face Discoloration fix mod. When I use `setnpcweight x` on her the face gets fixed but the body remains black/dark.
Any Ideas?
sorry, just found out some weird stuff is also happening with another replacer I thought was working fine but didn't notice it wasn't... just skyrim being skyrim I guess
How can I change her meshes? she's flat chested no matter what I do. Even with the "weight 100" file she's still flat chested. I even tried copying another follower's meshes over but that didn't work either
I had the same problem, but luckily the author already commented on a possible fix which did work for me.
Try this and let me know if it works: - open up the console and select M'rissi - type "setnpcweight 100" and hit enter - type "disable", enter, and then "enable", enter - close the console and save
Granted, the only issue after was her neck had a necklace-sized vector that you could see through. Luckily, just slap on a necklace or collar of some sort and it covers it up nicely. Now she's well adjusted and good to go!
I managed to fix it, I ended up finding bodyslide files for her here on nexus. I downloaded it and made her thicc lol No neck gap issues or nothing. You should do that.
Would you be so kind as to tell / show me where to get the bodyslide files I need to fix M'rissi? I would love to do that without worrying about the neck seam problem.
Search "Fluffy M'rissi Replacer" here on Nexus and then click on files, and scroll down to optional files. You'll see bodyslide files, download/install that file and then you can open bodyslide to use whatever body preset you want on M'rissi.

From there copy: Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets - femalebody_1 and 2.nif along with feet and hands.
Paste: Data\meshes\MrTT\Mri.
You can also build her a new body in Bodyslide but this will overwrite your current characters body. So back that up first.

Can anyone tell me what mod the eye textures come from?
It's been an idea of mine to make an actual pack of "cat eye" textures one day, I just haven't had time to do any modding as of late.
