Changelogs
Version 1.1
Added a different way/method and a few extra things that may be useful to some. Also added some pictures showing what can be done with the "new method".
Substance Guide PBR workflow for Skyrim SE
This is in no way considered the best method as people's opinion always varies, but after spending too much time trying to get decent and consistent results out of non-pbr and with the help of other Mod Authors, we decided to stick to PBR and write this guide for anyone else who finds the non-pbr workflow disappointing and/or too difficult.
(For any mod author who disagrees with this guide/method, all i can say is, "to each his own", no need to be toxic just because you disagree with something..)
In the files you will find a pdf explaining the majority of the PBR to Skyrim Workflow, this isn't meant to teach you how to use substance but to teach you how to get textures out of substance that still look good when converted in the formats skyrim supports.
There are also Photoshop Intel presets made to make conversion easier and a little bit faster as well as Substance templates necessary for the guide.
If the guide helped you please leave a comment and endorse it, this would mean a lot to us :D
