Hey everyone -- just thought I'd give a quick update in case you were curious about what's next.
I'm sure some of you are surprised that another house hasn't been released already, given the rate at which I was previously cranking them out. The recent pandemic has made a lot of trouble for my personal life, resulting in some setbacks for my modding. Not to worry, however; things are back on track, and as of today I'm starting work on the next installation of my series -- 'Identity Crisis' -- which I hope you'll all enjoy.
That's all I'll say for now. Enjoy this update on 'Tsatampra Xiros' in the meantime (as well as more glorious dialogue recorded by the incomparable Daniel Hodge) and I'll see you soon!
for anyone new to this mod the screenshots are deceiving, you don't get to live in the cool looking fishing spot, or the cultist shack at the beginning of the mod, with unique assets and cool furniture. the actual house is a generic standard apocrypha book mess without the appeal of the sickly green skies and sea of ink. its just a cave of books. which if that's you're thing this mod has done nothing wrong but the real appeal is the constant never-ending talking of mora (great va btw) and his assistant. there's no way to silence them and they will talk forever
This mod absolutely slaps. Went in blind (as in didn't even know about it was installed, I'm playing Lost Legacy) and WOW. All the areas look amazing, Hermaeus Mora is on point. The amount of polish is nuts. Thanks for making this <3

A9128BB8 doesnt exist but A9128BBB with a b does, and it's a cleaning event, which corresponds to the descriptor, so its likely to be a typo, havent tried it, can be fixed with x edit easy
For anyone wondering how to do it (xEdit noob edition guide :) ), it's surprisingly easy to find. - load the .esp in xEdit - open the dialogues category in the left pane (the one where you see lines of dialogues written) - unfold a few by clicking the + symbol until you see "Ahh, the final allotment" - click on that, and in the right pane look for the entry that says "[A9128BB8] < Error: Could not be resolved > - replace A9128BB8 with A9128BBB, click somewhere to accept the change, don't pick anything random from the rolldown list - you should see it change to antiquarian cleaning entry and you're done - close xEdit, save change to the plugin, the error is gone
Thanks for posting this. Just to clarify a couple things for our fellow dummies, it's under dialog topics specifically, and you expand the ID [XX09A80F] to find [XX09A810] which we do the actual work on. The first two digits/letters will change depending on the mod's position in your load order.
@Chunhwa Thanks for the slightly less convoluted explanation of where to find the error. "keep clicking on a few things inside one of the three dialogue tabs until you find a specific line of dialogue hidden somewhere on the right pane" wasn't helping at all lol
There is no way to leave the annals once you have completed the objective.... There is a power but it just act like a shout and does nothing else lost about three hours progress because of this
other than the above issue the mod is good with a very Lovecraftian theme and feel
Did you try going to the top level? There's an area in the middle where you can float down, and across from that platform, you can float up instead. There's a mist portal to go through to get back to Skyrim.
I would like to report the Annals to OSHA, as the lack of guard rails around the floaty elevator has led to me falling to my death. Jokes aside, this is probably one of my favorite Herma-Mora related mods. Love hearing the slimey grandpa occasionally just, chime in. Aesthetics are on point, too. Also, love finally having a purpose for all the ruined books in Skyrim.
Haven't tried it yet but this is the best looking hermeaus mora themed mod I've seen, just a question, is this mod fully finished l and how long is it approximately?
Yes, you do. There is a spell under Powers called Mora's Reach that will teleport you straight to the Annals, and then back to where you originally cast it. It will even bring your follower(s) along with you.
