This is fantastic. I just have one question- with this installed, all the gates on my stables (maybe added by Jk's Skyrim? that's where it said the gate came from when I saw it in Rorikstead) are the same texture as the siding. Hiding wrwoodplanks02.dds fixed the gate... but then the houses are "normal". Do you know if there's a way to make those gates point to a different texture so they don't look bright and plastery? I'm decent with xEdit but a flop with CK so I'm not sure if there's a way.

I noticed that yesterday myself, and have uploaded a revised version that removes the plaster from the stable gates and walls. (wrwoodplanks03.dds is the culprit; this mod does not include wrwoodplanks02.dds.)

    Hi!

can I as you if you plan a compatibility patch with Open Cities (or if this is already compatible)?

    Thank you! :)

It's not needed. These are only texture files, and will not effect the way Open Cities works.

I like the simplicity of this mod. What would make it great would be more detailed streets/road in Whiterun.

The vanilla streets are very two dimensional and faded looking and mono clolored, and have very little detail when compared to a real road. Ideally, adding shadows for depth, and some moss and roadside weeds to the cobblestone might help. I've looked at a bunch of different Whiterun street mods, and they all seem to be too pronounced, or are too symmetrical, to the point where they pop out, and look out of place. Sadly, I don't have the skill set to make such changes.

I'm glad you like it! It's probably beyond my skill set at the moment to handle the road the way you described... Have you tried using Real Roads for Skyrim? It just needs to be converted from Oldrim...

These textures are beautiful! I will use it from now on. It really changes the feel of Whiterun and I love the darker wood. Endorsed!

I grew up in a town filled with Fachwerk, and this texture pack makes me feel at home.

Nice Work. Fachwerk look nice. It is an old architecture almost forgotten today. It is not only practical but also ecological and environmentally friendly.
