And we are up again! A moderator had me re-write the description. Ok, ok, maybe it was a bit too "aggressive" and if you read the original description; I did freely acknowledge that I can be an a-hole (just ask ThePiggygalaxy below) :-P
So anyway, its now gotten the a-ok. The moderator even said I ought to report Tronizen's mod, but in the course of making this modlist I can see that there are indeed elements to his mod that I cannot find elsewhere on the Nexus (specified below) and honestly I really don't want to see his page disappear. I'd still recommend overwriting as many of the files in his mod pack as possible tho, since we still don't know which of his files can cause CTDs. I suspect Corsafire1 has the right of it tho; their method for disabling meshes has proven safe and effective and they even outline their steps so you can do the same - something about alpha flags and... ya, its still a bit beyond me...
Beyond the description page, the thing the moderator really took issue with was this page being "just" text - here's the exact quote:
and later:
Thus to future proof this project I've converted the modlist into a modpack! Remember, just because a mod author has released permission to me, don't assume that applies to everyone! If you want to use a mod author's assets; make sure you have permission AND credit your sources - some people forget that 2nd part
Items I couldn't find direct replacements for: Optimize Body Normals - quote from Corsafire1: Fix Hair Specularity - only know of an Oldrim mod
Note to self, the following images are unused by the installer, could remove them to save ppl another 28mb on the download... AnnoyingThings.png BronzeShine2.png CameraFilters3.png Grass.png InteriorFog2.png Rocks2.png UnderwaterGrass2.png UnderwaterVisibility2.png UnderwaterVisibility4.png UnderwaterVisibility7.png
Current ToDo List:
Figure out male Eyes AO Clipping Fix issue - just remove offending files? Could use more user test results / input after trying the other versions Improve LotD compatibility - pending user response Forward new version of Candle Lag Fix Issue w/ new ESL flagged version of Skyrim Project Optimization?
Stupid question.. this isnt just a drag and drop into vortex like any others, is it? Sounds like this is a separate application with a launcher? Sorry, just a little confused.
Would be good to have some opinion on Paramount vs Landscape and Water Fixes - Lightened Skyrim ? anyone use one or the other ? or both together? probably risking a crash..
SkyrimVR user here who uses realm of lorkhan, on startup, screen is black, I can hear the background and I can move around but I am blind, now if I use a coc command to warp elsewhere, I get the picture back, any idea whats going on?
with the Collections update, this mod will be useless since with the collections the mods can receive updates without having to downgrade everything again
Just a note for users: I took a look at the files for this and "Remove or Optimize Precipitation", the smallest sizes were different for different things - getting maximum performance would take copying individual .dds files from both mods to each other (hopefully I know what I'm doing).
