A Nord stand-alone follower and his Race Menu preset for your character.

Arik may look like a tough warrior, and he is, but Arik is a good-natured, all around pleasant person to keep you company on your long travels, and always ready with a smile. He will never leave your side unless you ask him. Nothing brings this guy down! His friends call him Ark the Light-Hearted due to his pleasant disposition. He may have struggled growing up in the mean-streets of Riften, but he chose his own path to become a mercenary instead of falling prey to the Thieve's Guild. Though, he's been known to commit a bit of thievery from time to time. Now he hangs out with his long-time pal Ulfberth War-Bear at Warmaiden's in Whiterun.

**Note: Honestly, Companion armor is hideous, BUT with NordWarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacer, it is now one of my favorites.
If you have Amazing Follower Tweaks, you can change out his armor.

Two-handed Warrior
Levels 10-90
Weight 60 (sorry, not into meatheads)
All Crime OK
Mood: Happy
Aggressive
Foolhardy
Helps Friends and Allies
Speed 125
Voice: Male Even Toned Accented
(Choices for voices is very limited to use for a marriageable follower. This one was the least annoying to me.)

Skin notes: You should be able to use any skin texture you want. BUT, I tried using Tempered skins with SOS and he has a neck seam. I tried several things, but it wouldn't go away. I seem to have better luck with Vitruvia skin. I use that and placed it after Male Face Texture which seemed to get rid of the neck seam. I'm sure other people have more experience with this sort of thing, this being my first stand-alone follower. For now, it is what it is.
