"why can't i shoot arrows faster?"
"i have shot many dragons out of the sky, but this bow... why cant i get better"
"maybe instead of focusing on my draw speed, i should focus on notching this damn arrow..."

Semi-automatic Bows and Arrows replaces the bow_drawlight.hkx, sneakbow_drawlight.hkx and mc_bow_drawlight.hkx files with an 'empty' hkx file (i used chickenproject.hkx lol) to speed up the notching animation for the bow by over 9,000. (which is just my way of saying it removes it)


Installation

Mod manager:
To install use the mod manager. 
To uninstall use mod manager.

Manual: 
Download Semi-automatic Bows and Arrows and extract to the Data folder.

To uninstall go to these locations and delete bow_drawlight.hkx and sneakbow_drawlight.hkx:
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations   
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\female
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\male
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\_1stperson\animations
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\weapons\bow\animations

also delete mc_bow_drawlight.hkx in this location:
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\horse_rider\patch



Troubleshooting

Version 1.1.6 REPLACES the drawlight.hkx files so make sure this mod is loaded after any other animation mods that adds those files. If you are doing this manually, when you extract the mod make sure it replaces all the drawlight.hkx files. (unlike the old version you DO NOT have to manually delete anything to trouble shoot this)


The old file, version 1.1.2 REMOVES the drawlight.hkx files from Skyrim - Animations.bsa. So to get that to work you need to manually go into all the locations and remove all the drawlight.hkx files. the locations are:
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations   
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\female
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\male
Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\horse_rider\patch
