Hi,
So I was peacefully playing Skyrim and just remembered that Bijin NPCs have their proper meshes and textures and if I wanted to change them I would have to copy/paste them. I get upset and now I publish a mod :)

This mod acts like an AIO or merged patch of all Bijin Mods (NPCs, Warmaidens, Wives, + or - Serana & Valerica) and also contains no body/hands/feet references. So the game use the body/hands/feet meshes and textures that you have installed and that you want. Also contains FaceGen data to avoid any color difference between head/neck and body (read the description of each options during installation).

I am aware that there is currently a problem with Serana 1.6 facegen (don't know if it concern all 1.6 variants)
As I haven't played Skyrim for a long time and haven't planned on playing it, bugs won't be fixed (for now)



Files explaination :
    Esp-only version - AIO for Bijin NPCsWarmaidensWives mods to use meshes and textures you have installed for CBBE

    Main version - Esp-only effects + FaceGenData (to ensure there are no neck seams: no color difference between head/neck and body)

    Alt. version - Same effect as the main version BUT with alternative apparences (load after any AIO)
    Actually contains :
    - Aela, Lydia and Ria (nothing needed)
    - Frea and Iona (you need "Frea-Iona" AIO's version [not obtainable anymore] with ESP disabled)

    KS Hairdos HDT SMP version - Work in progress (Still looking for a method, if anyone knows how to do this I'm interested)

Installation guide/troubleshoot :
  • Install this mod after installing all Bijin mods you want (MO2/Vortex users: just make sure that it is loaded after all Bijin mods)
  • All Bijin mods ESPs needs to be disabled/unticked, only this mod ESPs should be enabled
  • Make sure that you choose the same correct options during installation
  • If you have installed another replacer (or my alt file) for one or more npcs just make sure it contains FaceGen data and load/install both the mod and the ESP after this mod
P.S: All Bijin mods also means Serana & Valerica if installed


Here is what I did for every NPC :
  • Make NPC body use CBBE meshes and textures :
    Go throught the ESP using SSEedit, erase the armor addon path in the actor window, check the armor addon, delete all references that are used to build the armor addon (like texture sets for example) and now you can delete the armor addon.
  • Make NPC face use CBBE meshes and textures :
    Go throught the corresponding facegeom nif file using NifSkope and search for the texture set (usually double click on the head and then ShaderProperty>TextureSet and redirect paths into "textures\Actors\Character\<gender>\..." sometimes you have to redirect all paths and sometimes you have to keep some of them. No more neckseams :)

    In some cases you don't have to edit all paths like in those two examples :
    • "textures\Actors\Character\Male\BlankDetailmap.dds" even if it is a female character (a blank map doesn't have to be different between genders)
    • with Maven vanilla setting I kept the original Bijin texture to keep wrinkles
