I picked this up and plopped it into my load order: i run 1.5.97.
When i get into my game, the fast travel isn't disabled and i can still travel normally. I have survival mode improved skse and frostfall which both have impact on the fast travel mechanic. I have tried disabling the frostfall and its still not locking it. I can't figure out how to get to the survival mode but ill keep looking.
Any way to turn off your mod's fast travel so i can test if its frostfall or survival mode improved?
sorry i dont quite remember. i use other mod now. what i remember is, if i toggled sunhelm fast travel on, then i could fast travel normally via map without the need to use the fast travel pack, makes this mod useless. and if i toggled sunhelm fast travel off, i couldnt fast travel. both from the map or when using the travel pack from the inventory. both says you could not fast travel here. i know maybe its something wrong from my end, but there are other things that makes me uninstall the mod personally. one of them is that if you use mod like respawn or any death overhauls, once you died and got sent somewhere, it will consume the fast travel pack. which is quite annoying.
For some reason, the mod does not disable fast travel on the map. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the script work? I don't have any mods that might conflict with this in my modlist. Skyrim SE 1.5.97
I wouldn't say more "complex" necessarily. Perhaps more modular.
This mod is the "OG" version, Journeyman is based on that but more streamlined and has better compatibility and QoL. TBH it's probably better. Mine is more "immersive" in the sense that you have to build your packs and keep them in your inventory, and have more weight. More of a gameplay element if you're serious about survival mode.
No, there isn't. I also think the MO designed it this way to discourage effortless fast travel. If you could re-use the travel pack, then it doesn't really counter the issue this mod addresses.
I imagine that what could work for the burden issue you mention would be having a skillset branch (like in Frostfall) where your character would get better and better in managing their resources.
In my Skyrim it costs about 300 gold. A little expensive (perhaps it’s worth making a version with a price). And I wonder if it is spreading around the world? Can I meet someone who will have a set in their pocket? It’s nice that the mod is originally in Russian and that I’m the first to leave a post. Thank you for the wonderful mod. Best wishes!!!
unfortunately it doesn't work for me anymore. when i use a travel pack, the message comes up: "you can't equip that item" and then the map opens normally. but if i click on a place now, i can unfortunately only set a marker. but I'm not teleported.
can you turn off the mod? If I just turn them off in MO, the game crashes.
