Hi there.. Downloaded a while ago and have used her for awhile now. Great follower, but I found she is very pushy. Keeps on bumping into me while I'm trying to aim with my bow, and accidentally shot her more then a few times. lol. Also just found out there are no body mesh files. Has texture files, but no meshes.
She will any body preset you have installed for best compatibility with all mods out there. She comes with custom textures which cover both unp and cbbe bodies . For the distance, I think it's mostly a vanilla thing, but I'm gonna try and see what I can do about that ... I'm still kinda new to custom follower systems and scripting work.
Hi. Thanks for replying. I only found out about missing body meshes when I went to give her other armor. I did the console removeallitems on her, and all she had was her head, hands and feet. Invisible body. Not sure if I could just add a mesh folder for her in game, and if it would work. Thank you.
Uhm, there is no need to force console commands for that ... any armor given to followers through inventory/trade dialogue will be equipped by default as long as it is better than the one they are wearing . I'm not sure why removeallitems would even remove her body though , I went in game and tried the command on her out of curiousity and it didn't do anything other than removing some things in her inventory. It certainly didn't remove her default armor .
The meshes are not missing, I have set Kirsten to use any body you have installed for female characters, I thought this would make things easier especially for people who use custom presets built in Bodyslide , including HDT bodies. Textures are custom but they are compatible with SMP, 3BBB , ect. Here's a look at it in TES5Edit:
Which body mod are you currently using? Perhaps I can send you an edited .esp to integrate the meshes you have, although as I said before she shouldn't have a missing body at all . Also, as a general advice, please avoid using console commands on custom framework followers ;)
I'm using the cbbe 3bbb body with smp. Luckily after I did the console command, I loaded an previous save, so I don't think it would have done any damage to my game. I also use the mods Go to Bed, Sleep Tight, and Double Beds are for Spooning. lol When my pc goes to bed, I can direct a follower to sleep next to me, and yes, strip.lol If I tell Kristen to sleep, it usually has a ctd. Maybe just a bad download? I'll download again, then reinstall. Maybe that will fix it.
Thank you for doing that Erydia. Default format makes Kirsten extremely portable/performance-friendly & 100% compatible with all body mods across the Nexus.

She looks awesome. I am interested, but I have a couple of questions.
One, how does she play with other mods, and other CC Followers especially? Some go together like ...well like Inigo and Vilja.... Vilja, and Sofia... seem to be scripted to play great with other NPCs, where as some other's seem to be great until NPCs are in the picture (I have one custom voiced fairly well endorsed custom male follower atm, who I can go certain places with, with some followers... but other places with followers and he causes CTDs I tested it, its him, and then had the same issue two days later with a female one).
Two, is this a voice package, that has been made available, and you've edited, or is truly custom voice acting to made to custom scripted dialogue? I only ask because I hunt all truly Custom Voiced followers down mercilessly because I am glutton for good ones, and I have never seen her before.
Perhaps this is not the follower you are looking for. She is no Inigo or Vilja. She has a custom scripted framework and voice, but will not talk to other npcs, also as stated in the description voiceset has open permission and I used it to make a fully voiced follower .
In order to make more features, I would need a voice actor, but right now I am very busy irl and don't know when I will be able to work more on this as well as more mods I have in progress.
When I said play together, I meant purely compatibility though... I do not mind banter between CC followers, like Lucien and Auri, or Vilja and Inigo, or Sofia and any authority figure that needs to be given a glib retort.... that sh*t is great.... BUT more important to me is the compatibility.
And yes, I what I mean, I guess, is the voice package just some 'Sexier' or 'more badass' rendition of in game dialogue lines, OR is it far more pervasive and immersive? Does she have interactions and conversations beyond vanilla? Will she make comments on places, will she have things to say, or ask, etc etc?
Very few custom follower mods are Vilja or Inigo tbh, and I do not hold anyone to that bar, but Vilja definitely is, even 4 years later, the zenith of custom followers.... however... I DO have minimum expectations on a purely subjective level, no shade on modders who's work does not meet them, of custom voice followers, having a custom framework, and AI, and these making the use of the new custom dialogue.
I see she has commentary, but what about interaction? I know she has no quests, but does she have some more complex dialogue and interaction options than vanilla?
Just handed Kirsten my endorsement for a job well-done... Loaded the plugin BELOW EFF so Kirsten's custom A.I/follower faction takes priority in-game for maximum compatibility/minimum conflicts since forcing companions with custom A.I/follower factions into follower frameworks like EFF will break them.
Translation - DO NOT FORCE KIRSTEN INTO FOLLOWER FRAMEWORKS PEOPLE!!! If you wish to trade items, it's as simple as talking to Kirsten & selecting the appropriate dialog option (Let's trade) folks...
Hi, thanks for this follower, she's really pretty and well made. I'm having an issue in my game - she doesn't have a voice. when talking to her she just gestures her hands and shoulders but there is no sound or lip movement.
Very weird, save and reload, also make sure she's not managed by any follower mod such as AFT , ect. Also check the load order and make sure the esp file if below follower management mods.
Just for your info, I'm using EFF, RDO and Ai Overhaul - these are the ones that affect dialogues. I already placed kirtesnfollower.esp below these. Are there any known issues with any of these mods?
Update: it's fixed now. I reinstalled the mod and overwritten the loose files. Her voice is working now. Somehow the sound files got corrupted that's most likely the cause.
