Some users report that if you install this mod in the middle of the thane-related quest, e.g. Dragon Rising, you might not receive the thane weapon. I will suggest a new game when using this mod or you have to use console command to get yourself the weapons.

Not getting the thane weapon from Riften. Opened xEdit and nothing is overwriting it. I don't know what is up with that but I replied to the current bug in the bugs section with more info.
The issue is that USSEP includes a new version of the script, and this mod is not carrying forward a necessary change in USSEP that matches that script. The following pictures show what will fix this problem:
Thanks for the help! I don't have access to Skyrim at the moment. But I will get around to update it when I have the time. Meanwhile users can use this method to fix it first.
One thing I will say is that this is not compatible with Zim's or with Thane weapons reborn or Legacy of the Dragonborn and needs a patch to work with those mods. All of the others use a script to identify when the thane reward is given and swaps it for a unique version and since this mod simply edits the vanilla quest (which in itself can be problematic, hence the USSEP incompatibility), the other mods will simply remove the item from this mod and award their own. If I were you I would reverse engineer how Zim and TWR do it and implement something similar and that way all rewards will get delivered.
I made a patch for "Legacy of the Dragonborn" if anyone/Author is interested.
Not all weapons included as LotD doesn't give one weapon per thane thing, but at least it's better with a replacement for the horrid textures/models that is included with LotD.
Don't quite remember what I did in terms of what I replaced and what I kept as I made the patch a while ago. But if there's interest I'll open it back up and give a complete list n stuff.
I have added the halberd anymation from animated armoury (DAR version) to your warshythe, it is much better and fitting. The thing is that requires that mod as master.
I don't use Thane weapons, but I do like to display them in my Hearthfire entryway as decoration. I thought, "Sure would be nice if they were unique and not just random vanilla weapons." One search later, I found this mod. It is now a permanent addition to my mod list.
You can look it up yourself easily from the console with the help command. I suggest searching using "of (hold name)" because there aren't many other items in the game named like that.
Example: help "of Falkreath" 4 will return the code for the Hunter Axe of Falkreath. If you see more than one listed it's because that one has a one-hand and a two-hand version.
Putting this here for myself (and everyone) who might need a command (only posting the defaults since the alternatives are craftable): ~ player.additem FE1C58** # Whiterun: 02 (sword) 3d (axe) Solitude: 16 Riften: 21 Markarth: 3E Windhlm: 25 Morthal: 2D Dawnstar: 29 Falkreath: 38 Winterhold: 49
True, they don't. Someone's comment below helped me, though. Open console with ~ key, and type: help "weapon name from description" and make sure to include the quotes.
ex: help "blade of whiterun" that worked for me, it popped up with the item ID's of the 1h/2h variants as well as the upgraded variants, the 'gilded' versions. then spawn in with the player.additem command. so for example, the blade of whiterun 1h sword non-upgraded variant command would be: player.additem FE07A802 1 1 = # that you are spawning in.
I'm a noob with all of this, so I'm sure this is super elementary for most. However, it would've helped me for this to be written out, so I figured why not. Hope it helps someone
hi there. thank you for the amazing mod. i have a problem with it though: i do not like the fact that the stats of these weapons rival that of a glass or dwarven weapon, specifically axe of whiterun, because you get it pretty early on in the game. this causes you to just have no interest in making a glass waraxe for yourself or be excited when you randomly find one.
so here's my request: is it possible to have a remodel version only ? without the enchantments and damage increase and etc ?
Man, the Blade of Whiterun looks amazing... I wish it was possible to obtain it instead of the Axe, I don't want to side with the Stormcloaks and betray Balbro just for a sword.

Edit: Should be fixed in new version.
I may look into it in the future.
Right now I will just list them as incompatible.
Thanks again!
