About this mod

This is a Legendary Edition port to SSE with full permission of its creator Whitemorn. This is his work and his alone. I am grateful to be able to bring his mods to SSE and soon to Xbox.

Dovah Domis     was an old Nordic fortress a few hundred years ago.  The Tower crumbled ages ago, leaving only the foundation in tact but in need of repair.

The Jarl  of  Whiterun sent his best builders to repair the foundation and construct a home on it for his father to live during his final years.
Now that he has passed away to Sovngarde, the Jarl has gifted the home to you, the Dragonborn.

                                  ***************************************************
 Mod Facts:
Dovah Domis is just North West of Whiterun near Silent Moons Camp.  It offers majestic views of the mountains, Silent Moons Camp, Whiterun, and a giants camp nearby.  It's a great place to relax, with nearly everything you could desire in a player home including a fountain, an indoor spa / hot tub for you and your followers to relax in after a hard day of bloodletting.  There are several weapon racks and storage chests, and one mannequin for you to store armor on.  Why only one?  Because I think they are hideous! LOL!  I've added several trunks for you to store your
excess armor / weapons and misc. items in.  There is also an archery target practice area and a few gardens on the deck outside the home.

It will accommodate plenty of followers and has a room for one child.
No followers or NPC's are included with this mod and none will be in the future.

It also has an awesome underground cave with plenty of activities to keep you and your followers busy, including raising a tankard or two at the bar, cooking your favorite meal, taking care of "Bleets", the pet goat, or crafting anything you desire.  There are some treasures to discover in the lake as well.

You will have to locate the trap door allowing access to the cave, which was at one time the passageway to a Dwarven city.

This is my first published mod, however, I have been using this mod long enough to test everything and have custom navmeshed the entire home.  If you should find anything that needs to be fixed (bug), please let me know.

                         ***************************************************

I have checked the mod with TESV edit, which reported no errors.

                         ***************************************************
There are no quests associated with this mod and no keys needed to occupy the home.
The throne has shelves on both sides of it that has treasure meant for display only, but the stuff on the floor can be taken.

Thanks to all of you who have donated and endorsed this mod!

There is a serious controversy in the modding community about Steam offering a "pay option"  for modders in  their workshop.  I do not support that option, but I do support the donation
request option. I am urging my fellow gamers to not purchase mods.  KEEP MODDING FREE!

Installation:
There should be no issues installing the mod with Nexus mod manager.
From my experience, I have better luck putting my player home mods early, or toward the top of the load order below the .esm files and any other plugins that suggest early placement like ApachiiSkyHair.

New (Optional) 1.6 version allows NPCs to autostrip in the hot tub area.   Some custom armors may not work with this feature.  Followers should re-equip clothing when leaving the tub area.
Manual installation:
Download the file
and place the Dovah Domis.ESP file in the Skyrim Data Folder
(Path):
C / programfiles(x86) / Steam / steamapps / common / skyrim / data

Conflicts:

Any mod that is located in the same area could cause you problems ie: freezes or CTD's

Purpose:
I decided to create this mod after having trouble finding a player home that I really enjoyed.  Most are way too dark and have complicated quests or too many unnecessary features.
The mod is not totally "lore friendly", but I tried not to make anything about it silly to the games
ideals.
As an award winning artist, I hope you'll enjoy this mod and please endorse it.
