High chance that this won't happen, because permissions are very restrictive. I just uninstalled it, because its not worth keeping it with all the issues.
Hey Arthmoor, I'm sorry to bother you, but would this mod go in my 'Minor Exterior Area Edits' section, or underneath in my 'City Overhauls/Multi-Edits to Exterior World' section? It's one of the two, but I just don't understand enough about what the mod consists of to know which one. I assume the signs are just simple, tiny objects added to the game world, so 'Minor Exterior Area Edits' should technically work, right? But then again, there's probably a buttload of them around the map, to a degree that it's probably worth putting lower, in the section where my multiple, larger exterior edits go, and probably after my Ancient Roads and Ruins Deluxe Plus bundle... right?! Goodness, please help me.
I'd go with the "Minor Exterior Area Edits" since it's just signposts dotted about along the roads. It's not enough of a concern to class it in the same group as city overhauls.
Not to be nitpicky, but PTW was here long before Lux was a twinkle in anyone's eye so I'm not sure why it should fall to me to make a patch for something that didn't even exist when this mod was released.
I don't know what I'm doing incorrectly. I can't get these sign posts to show up so all I've got are the markers just floating in the air. I need help because I've done all the troubleshooting I can do.
There are two options with Skyland AIO for signposts. If you just choose the textures then they work fine with Point The Way but if you want the lit signposts options, with added lanterns hanging from them, then it doesn't work with Point The Way or Cutting Room Floor.
Thank you my friend, I'd done this prior to reading this, I took the lantern addition out, out of suspicion, but to have you confirm it, is gold. You have my thanks Misfit.
It's more likely you'd screw over your save because flagging something ESL requires compacting the form IDs first, which this mod hasn't had done because it's been around since before ESL flags were a thing. It's not something I'm going to upload an update for, and it's something you should avoid doing on mods you aren't the author of because of the damage it would do to your save.
There should be no mods anywhere that require something to be ESL flagged. If you're following a guide that told you to do this, ignore that part of it and continue on.
Hello I am having the same issue as other people with the sign post near Helgen missing I don't have Northern roads installed and I have extensively check all my other mods an none of them effect this sign post but it is still missing.
figured it out. It was Skyland AIO. The option to put lanterns to signs poles. I reinstalled Skyland AIO without that option and now the sign pole is there.
I'm totally new here and want to install this mod manually for Skyrim Anniversary Edition, but since the author says "Skyrim Special Edition 1.5.97 or greater. DO NOT extract the contents of the BSA file into your Data folder" how can I install it? Is it possible without downgrading?
Is it safe to remove the Record 0000993F ITM manually since it doesnt change anything and would probably not be cleaned by xEdit since its a Simple Record? It overwrites Region PalePassBorderRegion from Beyond Skyrim Bruma.
Hey there. I wanted to report a bug occur on the sign nearby Helgen where the pole is missing and I'm not sure what the cause was. I tries to noclip to see if it was misplaced somewhere else and I cannot find it anywhere. My thought was that It might be a problem between Northern Roads and even though both your mods have been patched twice and work wonderfully but for some reason, this one seems to be here bugging out. So I wanted to know if could you possibly fix it. Or who should I ask for help on this? Like the people making the patches?
Assuming it wasn't some other mod, it was Northern Roads that deleted the signpost.
This should be fixable by simply loading Point The Way after Northern Roads to restore that signpost.
That signpost was originally some distance away from the intersection in vanilla. It's one of the few that PTW moves a significant distance from its origin.
Then that means whatever other mod has moved them is also holding them in either an alias or a script property which makes it impossible to move them back where they belong.
I love this mod and sojourn over sign posts makes it better. Unfortunately sojourn is outdated and not working properly and this mod adds clutter of signs without posts for them. Hope this mod gets an update soon <3

Multiple signs are floating
Edit: I tried patching but I suck at this

It's not reasonable to expect every mod author to just drop everything and make patches for extensive overhauls they may not even be using.

Copy the .esp and the two .bsa files into your Data folder and you're good to go.
A certain mod manager gave a lot of bad advice at one point about unpacking everything loose which is why those notices are there on my files now.
