I'm afraid this mod is stupid. Not because of the mod itself, but because the jab --> cross itself cannot be sped up due to skyrim's dumb mechanics. All this mod did was introduce telegraphing to the punches. For those who don't know what telegraphing is, it's when you make an unnecessary movement right before striking that tells your opponent that a punch is coming before it comes. Telegraphing should ALWAYS be cut out, not be made to sound like a good thing.
wtf. games arent real life, without some sort of telegraphing or attack warning, you wont be able to dodge or block attacks. Unless you trained in actual combat or sword fighting. the entire souls series is built around telegraphing and attack pattern. from bloodbourne to elden ring. they all freaking succesful games and famous and very well loved by gamers. what are you on about?
i wouldnt call this mod "stupid", but it definitely could be better if it cut out telegraphing and about attack warnings, just make npcs have the vanilla unarmed animation
Hi, I love Cross and Jab but this looks like a great improvement. Would you be willing be grant permission to port your mods to Xbox? I am building an unarmed bundle (we are limited to 150 mods, so bundles are essential) and would love to include this. The animations have been slowed down to match the hit registration and sound. The original animations were much faster and the animation would finish ~1 second or so before the game actually registers your hit and plays the associated sound.
could you give little more detail? what attack moving or standing still? and do you have combat gameplay overhaul? or other mods that change behaviour files? thanks.
Works perfectly now. Might have just been a quirk of CGO or 360 movement. Sometimes Nemesis bugs out too so it could have been that. Fisticuffs look great now!
I'm also using CGO and I encountered the same problem, but I don't use 360 movement. It looked like I was punching sideways to the right instead of straight like it's supposed to. This happened with the body hook animations too so It's not limited to one animation. I was able to fix it by equipping a weapon and pressing the hotkey that toggles changing the grip between onehanded and twohanded and then unequipping it. So I guess it must have something to do with the grip changing feature and how it changes the way the body orients itself while in the twohanded grip.

So does this file contains the whole mod and the speedfix or is it just a speedfix that also applies on Cross&Jab?
