Yeah, I was looking for a more detailed skill up progress bar. :) This is pretty much exactly what I don't' want.

2020, it took me 4 years to know about this mod, my god, where have i been, i love it, was getting really annoyed at the speed in which these books help speed up skill levels, good job.

Remember this mod is not compatible with Book Covers Skyrim without a compatibility patch.

I've been waiting for a mod like this! Thank you.

Do you think it would make sense for books to add to the speech skill though, if possible? It seems more immersive imo

What if skill books acted like a "manual" and temporarily boosted how quick you could learn skills? And maybe not just the first time you read it but you can read it multiple times or at least keep it in your inventory. And reading could logically boost speech.

On the other hand, it does happen you can learn random bits of knowledge if you do so happen to pick up a random book (or read random articles online) even if you never intend to use that information, or even are interested in that information in the first place.

On the other hand, skills that level up have a slight effect on your overall level... On the other hand, that effect is lesser the higher your character level is.

    On the other hand...

On one hand, I get what you are saying, books can make you smarter. On the other hand, who has ever read a full book in Skyrim. On the same hand, I want to learn a skill by actually doing it.
