Please notify me of any issues, I had to manually modify all the tents I added scripts to and could have missed one. Please be descriptive in your reports. :)
Important note for v1.7: Fixed the horses. The reason they caused crashes when riding them off into the sunset is because once you destroyed a camp, they were tied to an Enable Parent that is disabled when the camp registers as fully destroyed. Horses are now independent, do not respawn, and imperial horses now use the appropriate Imperial saddle. Additional triggers were added to ensure the people hanging are actually hanging when you approach the camp. This was not always consistent in previous versions. As mentioned in the changelog and earlier comment: I disabled the quest "CWACleanupQuest" from automatic start up. This quest was responsible for repairing destruction caused by the civil war. However, other mods now handle this better and I recommend using them. They will be linked in the mod description. If anyone wants my simple implementation, it should still be accessible as "setstage CWACleanupQuest 0" via console. If you are currently playing with the mod and didn't complete the civil war, use the console command "setstage CWACleanupQuest 2" this will stop the quest.
5 February 2022 - I am looking into improving this mod for a more consistent experience. Thanks for your incredible support <3.
I’m planning to return to Skyrim soon. It’s just hard to sit down and try to remind my game to a useable state… it takes so many mods to be how I want it, even harder once you get into the crazy conflict resolutions. I’ll look into removing USSEP and fixing up some other mods then.
Do I need to burn the flag, too? I've been trying to burn this flag at the camp just outside of the city of Windhelm and it's not burning. All of the tents and stuff did though.
This. This is the kind of ''little'' details that the vanilla game missed.
If nobody said it, I wouldn't think there's a freaking civil war going on, because you don't really see the battlefield. But with this kind of mod, there's the sensation that you are travelling through a war-torn place.
You don't see the battles, but you do see the consequences. (Like a poor stormcloak I found once in this mod, injured and suffering behind a barricade ; ; Poor thing, I couldn't bring myself to kill her, and my healing spells didn't work, so I just put a vigorous healing potion and some food in her inventory and left)
