“Does exactly what it says on the tin”. Yes, we never see the Serana Hood equipped indeed. But each time she gets out-of-doors the Serana Hood is generated and stayed in her inventory unequipped. How many times Serana gets out - so many Serana Hoods added to her inventory accordingly, without show in the trade menu. Does this affect her carrying capacity, not investigated (Serana Hood weight is 1). To verify the number of accumulated Serana Hoods we may use the console mode, select Serana and type the command [inv]. No surprise if there will be hundreds of them.
thats worrying me about installing the mod. I don't want her to be carrying 1000 invisible hoods in her inventory that might cause any script problems or w/e
We can thank Bethesda for their lazy-not-fixing stupid stuff and bugs like this? Also just about every custom mod inclining Serana never allows the spell Fornicate to work on them? After her quests are done with Amours adventures...I send her back to the castle. She also has a bug were she stelaths when nobody else is...like she is stuck in that mod. One time I asked Serana about curing her Vampirism and she just took off saying she had to do something back at the Castle.
The other bug I found is with the mod called Blood thirst. Serana will start biting everybody she can find...kinda really annoying. Waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 to go gold and I can then stop playing these crappy buggy Bethesda games. I very much appreciate the modding community as I would never play any Skyrim version if it wasn't for the great mods you all make and update regularly. Keep up the great work Bethesda refuses to do, even their online game is buggy as the rest of their bugged-out games.
It is a sham as they could also spend some money on a new game engine????????????????? There claim about there is no technology that exists to improve their game engine? Really?? It has been more than 15yrs since you made a game engine for your games. Are you blind to the advancements that have been made?
What ever you do, never buy a space game from anybody? How original Bethesda? A space game again in a genre that does terribly and now Bethesda thinks they can? NOT.
I now have the problem like with this mod. And it is are not working at all ,when before it did? And I have other mods that also stopped working? WTF NEXUS?
Thanks a million for this. Was using the hood fix, but that didn't really do it for me. And this works as an ESPFE if anyone's wondering -- just flip the flap in xEdit.
After installing the mod - LOOT shows me this plug-in "Dawnguard.esm contains wild edits. A manual SSEEdit cleaning guide is available here: Manual Cleaning Guide "
I know this is old, but for anyone else that is wondering...
"Wild edits" are changes made to a plugin that are unnecessary to accomplish what the mod is supposed to do. For example, a mod has the purpose of changing the armor worn by an NPC that hangs out in the Winking Skeever in Solitude, but the mod also randomly changes the location of a barrel in the Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood. Now you've got a barrel floating in mid air or sticking through a wall (clipping), and there was no reason to move the barrel in the first place. Yeah, it happens all the time.
The reason it is a problem is that mods loading after Dawnguard.esm may be counting on the game being in its original state, and the Dawnguard changes mess things up. In this case, Bethesda changed entries in Dawnguard.esm that affect game dynamics, those changes have no purpose for Dawnguard, and they cause problems down the road. To Bethesda (and any mod author that leaves unnecessary changes in place), the general message is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." This is a well known and widely publicized issue (GamerPoets even has included instructions on how to fix this in one of his videos).
does she tho? ive seen some pictures on the wiki or just google and she does not quite look like that, maybe im wrong but can you confirm again? cause im looking for something that makes her look like "that" if it is not the case, i don't want a beauty model thats for sure but i like how she looks in the pic a lot!
Is just Vanilla serana with a different Skin and Eye texture, looks similar to Better Females by Bella from oldrim, or Total Character Makeover from SE, but I don't know where the eye mod comes from, but there are a lot of good ones out there
Pretty sure the eyes are from BVFE, I remember there being an option to make everything but the iris black. Forgive me if I am wrong though, been a bit since I used that mod due to some issues with it :/
Quick question about this mod. I looked at the mod Serana hood fix as well which raised the question: Do I need to manually delete her vanilla hood the first time before installing this? Also, will this disable her from ever wearing a hood (one that I give her)? Update: I went ahead and installed this. It works like magic. Very good mod so far. I would choose this over the other mod. No conflicts at all. Thanks for the mod!

I don't get the hood duplicate problem people have, she only has 1 hood even after several hours.
Great if you're using other clothes for Serana and don't want the stupid hood.

What is this ?
