Introduction

In late 2017 after not finding anything in this style I decided to make a simple house mod with 0 modding experience. It quickly grew beyond my original idea and I found myself adding a follower and soon started creating spells and it was my little pet project ever since.
First and foremost I made this for my own playthrough and although I was hesitant before I decided to share what I have created.

Version 1.3 is here!
Please read the articles section for the changes!

Skyrim Legendary Edition Version
Disclaimer: I do not play the Skyrim special edition!

-Skyramas

Skyramas is a floating Necropolis that can be found on the far ice fields to the north-west of the Collage of
Winterhold. This is your base not a museum so you won't find a vast trophy or display room in here but...
It has everything you need for general gameplay and crafting, features a custom weapon rack for your rune weapon and a mannequin for your armor. You will also find a custom cooking, enchanting, and alchemy station and a custom bed. It will also house everything else this mod has to offer.

Getting there:

After you installing the mod there will be a map marker for it but you have to discover it first in order to fast travel to it. Set foot on the the island below Skyramas which has a number of undead guards and structures two of them with interiors but with no real purpose only decorations. Go up to the glowing teleporter and step in.

General layout:

Since it is a bit confusing at first I will explain it a bit. After you teleport in you can go up to the Throne Room or to the roof or down on either side on the stairs leading to the Bedroom and the Frost Quarter on the left side and to the Unholy and Blood Quarter on the right side. Then from those rooms you can go through a hallway that leads to the other two Quarters but on the halfway mark there is another corridor which will take you to another set of stairs leading down to the Weapon Room.

Rooms:

  • Bedroom - is where you find your general living space with a Bathroom and a lounging/drying room in the side room.
  • Frost Quarter - is where you will find everything you need for weapon and armor crafting and improvement. This is also the place where you will find the custom enchanting and smelting station the Runeforge. (go up the the big flaming skull, see the images for the functions.)
  • Blood Quarter - is your kitchen with a pantry in the side room. You will also find werewolf and vampire related objects in this room, and the custom cooking station as a huge cauldron with some nasty stuff boiling in it.
  • Unholy Quarter - is your study/alchemy room with a custom alchemy station the Plague Cauldron. You can also find a mannequin here.
  • Weapon Room - is where you can display your treasured Rune Weapon.
  • Throne Room - it's just that.
  • The Plagueworks - This room is on the very top of Skyramas. It is only a decoration serving as the plague goo generator which is used by the building to spread the undead plague.

There are two other buildings in the base: the Slaughterhouse and the Temple of the Damned.

The Temple of the Damned is populated with necromancers and this is where you can find the altar with the perk books.
The Slaughterhouse is populated with ghouls and this is where you can find 1 of your spells.

-Magic Effects

My goal with these spells is to add high cost, high impact spells (a bit like certain Death Knight abilities) so bare in mind that you will not be able to cast most of these on a fresh character and even on higher levels it will make you to actually invest into the different magic trees.

These perks can be activated or deactivated by reading their corresponding books but they have a number of requirements before you can use them. These books got placed on the altar in the Temple of the Damned.

Just to make sure everything works as intended please do not leave these perks active if you have not met their requirements yet.

Resistance reduces the damage taken while absorbing means they take no damage.

-Animal companion

This is your personal Death Hound who might be familiar from a different place meet Rotmeat!

Rotmeat:
Is a powerfull Death Hound variant that will start at a minimum of level 10 and scale up with the player to a maximum of level 100. Rotmeat will follow you on just a simple interact and return to Skyramas upon dismissal. In combat he does poison and frost dmage to enemies, excellent at hunting down those pesky mages. Good boy!
By default Rotmeat should not bark if he does and annoys you or you want him to bark target him in the console and type in 'sexchange'

Installing

Just use a mod manager and let it install for you.

Uninstalling

While there are some scripts in the mod to my knowledge they should not cause any issues if uninstalled but as always with mods do it at your own risk!!!

Future plans
Add some enchantments, potions, build new decorations, and interior cell for the Ziggurats but I consider the mod to be mostly complete. As this is my little pet project i will probably change things from time to time whenever I play Skyrim. If you have any ideas within the Death Knight/Warcraft theme don't hesitate to tell me and I will see what can I do.
